Tommy POV

Tommy couldn't believe what he was seeing. Everything he had ever loved... it was all gone. Every building ever created, every bit of nature that made the SMP what it was. It was all nothing, reduced to ash.

Every memory that Tommy held close to his heart was just that... a memory.

He remembered first joining the SMP. Just a teenager with big dreams.

"I can't thank you enough for inviting me to the SMP!" the blonde grinned, looking at the world in awe. It was better than he could have ever imagined. Buildings loomed around, highlighted by the vast trees and water. It was bright, with an even brighter future.

"Of course Tommy. I heard you were looking for a new place to live, so why not invite you to live here?" Dream laughed, walking just a bit ahead of the blonde. "Besides, I think you might light up the place a bit."

"So I can build anywhere I want?" Tommy asked, picturing the greatest house he could think of. He could finally create the world he had always envisioned.

"Of course! Unless the land is claimed by someone."  the masked man nodded.

The teen paused, his eyes drifting towards the falling sun. "That's beautiful." he whispered, completely captivated by the sunset.

Dream stopped beside him, chuckling. He nodded in agreement, "I always thought the SMP had the prettiest sunsets. It's the one thing that never changes around here."

Tommy thought for a moment, his curiosity peaking as he looked at his friend. "Can I ask you something?"

The blonde tilted his head, "Sure?"

"How come you never take your mask off anymore?"

Dream paused for a minute. Then with a swift move of his hand, he pushed the mask up into his hair. A grin formed on his face as his eyes sparkled with a bit of humor. "What do you mean? I take it off all the time!"

Tommy burst out laughing, causing Dream to grin even wider. Gasping for breath, he said, "I'm glad we're friends."

Dream laid an arm on the boy's shoulder, his smile never fading. "Me too Tommy, me too."

Dream had watched the destruction with a smile on his face. Any fond memory with the teen completely out of mind. Tommy barely recognized him anymore. The mad man that had taken his friend away was here to stay. Tommy knew that, as much as it hurt.

He remembered when Wilbur had bid him a final goodbye, joining Techno and Phil officially.

"You'll come back, right?" Tommy looked at the older with hope in his eyes. He couldn't imagine a life without his older brother. He looked up to him and he never wanted that to change.

"Of course I will Toms." Wilbur laughed, ruffling the boy's hair. "We just won L'manberg's independence. I can't leave you to bask in all the glory!"

The blonde laughed, watching as Wilbur adjusted the strap of his guitar. He had been dreaming about this trip forever and Tommy couldn't be more happy for him. Besides, Wilbur would never break his promise. Tommy knew that better than anyone.

He stood there for a moment before tackling the brunette in a hug. Wilbur laughed, immediately holding him close. Tommy leaned against his chest and closed his eyes. If he listened hard enough, he could hear his heart beat. Tommy wanted with all his heart for Wilbur to stay, but he knew that was selfish.

With one final squeeze Wilbur let go. He turned on his heel before he paused. His eyes drifted back to Tommy. Chuckling he pulled off his beanie and threw it at the blonde. "Keep this safe for me, will you?" Then without a word, he turned back towards his future.

Tommy pulled the beanie over his head, grinning. He waved until the brunette was out of sight. The hat was a bit big, but he didn't mind. He couldn't wait to grow into it.

Tommy didn't even know Wilbur anymore. The brunette had joined in the destruction of the home place he called home. He had betrayed him... That hurt worse than anything.

His entire family had turned against him, laughing in his face. They were insane... but they were still his family. And as much as he wanted to, he couldn't bring himself to hate his flesh in blood.

Closing his eyes, he allowed his knees to give out. The weight was too much, it was crushing. Tears poured down every inch of his face as he cried out. For his pain, for the memories. For the family he had lost. Every part of his body was exhausted.

He just wanted to go home. But there was no home anymore.

A voice suddenly called out for him, sending chills down his spine.

"Tommy?"
