Tubbo POV
Tubbo panted as he followed Techno, twisting and turning within the alleyways. His lungs screamed for air and he wanted nothing more than to grant that wish. But he knew Techno didn't want to stop for even a second. And Tubbo wasn't about to get left behind.
The further they ran, the more Tubbo wanted to die. Techno finally began to take notice as Tubbo began to move slower and slower. "We'll take a break in a second," the pinkette promised, speaking surprisingly gentle.
Finding the break in the fence, Techno finally lead him to the bridge. As soon as he came to a halt, Tubbo felt his legs give out. Clinging to the grass, Tubbo tried his best to breathe. He laid like that for what felt like ages. When he could finally catch his breath, he sat up slightly and took a look around.
They sat beneath a small stone bridge, one that was surrounded by ghosts and legends. Tubbo remembered hearing the stories as a child, hoping he would never come face to face with a ghost. Swallowing his childish fear, he turned back towards Techno. "Isn't this the wrong side of town?" he questioned.
The pinkette didn't take his eyes away from the town. "We can't take a straight path there. This was the best alternative," he explained. "Of course, we wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for Tommy's stupidity."
Tubbo felt his blood boil at that. "It's not his fault-"
"Where was the tracking beacon, Tubbo?"
The brunette sighed, "He didn't mean to-"
"Doesn't matter," Techno finally met his eyes. "The fact is, that if Tommy hadn't have snuck out we would never have been in this situation. We'd still have a home."
Tubbo bit his lip, wishing he could deny it. "Tommy had the best of intentions, Tech. He wants nothing more than to fight by your side... And he... He thought proving himself was the best way to do it."
"After what he pulled tonight, he'll probably never make the team."
Tubbo stood up in rage, thinking back to his sobbing brother. "You never made a mistake?! He's not perfect Techno!" Techno looked taken aback at the outburst. After all, it wasn't like Tubbo to lose his temper. "He has been working none stop since he was six. And he slips up once and tries to fix it and suddenly he doesn't have a chance?" Closing his eyes, he knew it wasn't just Tommy who had made a mistake. "I'm not saying that he didn't make a big mistake and that he shouldn't face the consequences... I know he'll do everything in his power to right this wrong," he paused. "Besides... I was the reason we got caught. So if you're going to blame anyone, you should blame me too."
The older sighed, a new level of conflict sparkling in his eyes. He opened his mouth to respond, when the sound of footsteps approached.
Immediately they were on their feet, much to Tubbo's disappointment.

Tommy POV
Wilbur lead Tommy through the alleyways, much like Techno. They moved swiftly through the night, moving more cautiously than ever before. While Techno relied on experience and calculations, Wilbur relied on hesitation and chance.
Not that Tommy really cared or noticed. He could barely process the fact that they were running. Wilbur kept a tight grip on the blonde's hand, basically steering Tommy as they went. Tommy didn't even feel like he was there.
It was all his fault. That was all he really knew. Because of him they didn't have a home. Hell, they probably wouldn't even last the night. All because he wanted to prove himself. Why did he always have to be so stupid? Why couldn't he be logical like Techno? Why couldn't he be patient like Phil? Why couldn't he be-
