Episode 17: For Crying Out Loud

Fresh from her victory at the Violet City gym, Mew has now gained the Zephyr badge and has it proudly. Now they plan to find the next Johto League Gym to go next.

"So Mew, where do we need to go next?" Mew asks.

"Well, one of the things we should do is go find the next gym," Mew says.

Reading the guide book, Brock says, "It says here that the closest Johto League gym is the Azalea gym in Azalea Town."

"Then that is our next destination," Mew says.

"Hey Mew, didn't Professor Oak say where we need to take the G.S. Ball to?" Tomo asks.

"Huh. You're right. Professor Oak said that Kurt lives in Azalea Town and we need to deliver the G.S. Ball there" Mew says.

"Sounds like a good idea. We can go there for your battle and deliver the G.S. Ball," Misty says

Just then, Misty notices houses by a lake, "Hey! Look at all the big houses. This is such a beautiful place."

Everyone looks to see the houses.

"You're right. I'll bet Lugia would love to swim there," Mew says.

"Well, you know what you always find in beautiful places, don't you?" Brock says.

Everyone else questions, "No, Brock. What?"

"Beautiful girls!" Brock answers, "Guys, this could be it, this could be where I'm finally gonna meet the girl of my dreams!

"That's crazy! What makes you think you're gonna find the girl of your dreams here?" Misty questions.

Brock turns with blushes on his cheeks, "Because...she's standing right over there!"

Everyone looks yonder to see a beautiful young lady wearing a pink dress holding a white parasol. She also has long dark teal hair with a yellow ribbon tied in the back, and is staring out at the lake, looking sad.

"That's perfect! That cliff is the perfect spot for our first meeting," Brock says.

Then Misty replies, "Yeah! Right after she meets you, she can jump right off!"

Topepi chips and Pichu giggles.

Suddenly, the group hears rustling in the bushes. The group investigates and out of the bushes is a Marill with a pink ribbon on the end of its tail.

"It's a Marill!" Tomo and Brock say, surprised

Misty happily says, "WHAT A CUTIE! I'm gonna catch this one." and brings out a Pokeball.

Seeing the ribbon on Marill's tail, Mew calls out, "Wait Misty, I think that Marill..."

But Misty throws the Pokeball, "Go, Pokéball, GO!"

And the Pokeball slams hard into Marill's shocked face, knocking it over as the Pokeball bounces back into Misty's hand.

"Well... that didn't work very well, did it?" Misty says.

Suddenly, Marill's eyes go all wobbly and it bursts into tears. Everyone covers ears in pain,

"Make it stop! We've got to try to make it stop! Brock says.

Mew picks up Marill and rocks her, "It's okay Marill. Don't cry, sweetie, don't cry."

Finally, Marill calms down and feels better now.

Brock picks Marill up and says, "Upsie daisy."

And Marill is laughing.

Tomo soon notices, "Hey, look! It's got a bow on its tail."
