Episode 159: Here's Lookin' at You Elekid!

Still journeying to bring Larvitar back to Mt. Silver and the Johto League Silver conference, Mew and her friends find a quiet moment to kick back, relax, and enjoy a bite to eat. Everyone is sitting as they have sandwiches, fruits, water, and for the pokemon, Pokemon food and berries.

Larvitar is happily chowing down.

Misty leans to Larvitar, "Is that good, Larvitar? It looks great!"

However, Larvitar Hardens up again, much to Misty's dismay.

"Well, guess it still doesn't like me," Misty says.

"Don't worry. It'll warm up eventually," Brock says.

Zeraora nods in agreement.

"Papa said it will just take a while," Mew says.

"But I still have to wonder what happened to it," Jen says.

Suddenly, they hear rustling in the bushes.

"Hey, what is that?" Mew wonders.

They soon see the tip of a Pokémon's head.

"Is that a Pokemon?" Molly asks.

"And it looks familiar," Mew says.

Soon, an Elekid pops out from the bushes.

"Hey, look! It's an Elekid!" Brock says.

"Cool," Mew says and brings out the Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Elekid, the Electric Pokémon. An Electric Type. Elekid is the pre-evolved form of Electabuzz. It generates electricity by spinning its arms."

The Wild Elekid soon snatches a piece of Pokemon from Larvitar and tears it. Everyone is shocked.

Misty scolds the Pokemon, "Wait! You give that back, it belongs to Larvitar!"

This makes Pikachu and Eevee angry to see Elekid stealing Larvitar's food. Elekid begins to attack. Pikachu and Eevee begin a counterattack.

"Hang on, you guys! Stop!" Mew calls out.

However, Zeraora gets between them and gets shocked by the electric attacks, but it's not harmed at all. Everyone sighs in relief.

"Glad Zeraora is able to stop it," Molly says.

Elekid then turns its attention to Larvitar and brags to it, when a net suddenly comes down snaring them both.

"Larvitar!" Mew cries out.

"Pika!" (Elekid!) Eevee cries out.

It's revealed that it was really Team Rocket's doing.

"We're takin' dese two wit us!" Meowth says.

"So, say goodbye!" Jessie says.

"Yes, goodbye and good riddance!" James adds.

"Not so fast!" Mew says. Then calls out, "Bayleef, let's go! You too, Elekid!

With that, Bayleef and Elekid out of their Pokemon.

"Bayleef, Razor Leaf on the net! Elekid, use thunderbolt on the Balloon!" Mew calls out.

Bayleef tries to attack the net, but it doesn't break. Elekid launches his attack, but it can't reach the balloon.

"Looks like your Razor Leaf needs to be sharpened!" Jessie says.

"Yeah, dis here net's made out of reinforced steel! And your little spark plug can't reach!" Meowth adds.

James calls out his Pokemon, "Weezing, use Smokescreen, now!"
