Already back at Transit Town on the Red Rock Isle, Mew and her friends are staying at the Pokemon Center and are making plans to head back to Olivine City for Mew's Gym Battle.
Up at the Pokémon center... Mew is contacting Janina on the video phone.
Mew says, "Hey, Janina."
"Hi, Mew," Janina says.
"So how's Sparkle and Jasmine doing? Do you happen to know if Jasmine's ready for a gym battle yet?" Mew asks.
"Oh, yes. Sparkle's feeling a lot better now. Its tail is all lit up again, and everything is fine," Janina answers.
"Okay, then we'll catch the next boat to Olivine City and meet up with you guys tonight!" Mew says.
"That's great, Mew! Then I'll go and help Jasmine get the gym ready for tomorrow morning," Janina says.
Alright!" Mew says.
Janina waves goodbye, "Bye, guys!
"Bye," Everyone says.
Mew says, "Well guys, let's head to the ferry to Olivine City and compete for my sixth badge."
Sometime later, Mew and the others arrive at the docks to see the ferry isn't here.
"The ferry's supposed to be here," Tomo says.
"Maybe we missed it," Misty says.
"Or maybe it just hasn't come back yet," Brock says.
Soon, Mew spots a fisherman, "Hey, I wonder if that guy knows something."
She approaches the man and asks, "Uh, excuse me?"
What is it?" The fisherman asks.
Then Mew asks, "Do you know where the ferry is to Olivine City?"
"Can't say for sure, but it left from here about an hour ago," The fisherman answers.
"I knew it," Misty comments.
"What about the next one?" Brock asks.
"Leaves at the same time tomorrow morning," The fisherman says.
Everyone's in shock
"But we can't wait until tomorrow morning!" Mew says.
"So, then, tell me, young man, what's the big hurry?" The fisherman asks.
"Well you see, I have important gym battles in Olivine City first thing tomorrow morning," Mew says.
"That so?" The fisherman questions, "There's a courier service down the road a bit, I bet they could fly you over there on the HootHoot Express."
"The HootHoot Express, huh?" Mew replies, then says, "Hey, I have a Noctowl."
The fisherman mumbles and says, "Folks miss the boat, and I get new customers, dressing up as a fisherman really pays off."
"What?" Jen questions.
"I hear they run two flights a day to Olivine City. If you hurry, you'll make it," The fisherman says.
Everyone is relieved to hear it.
"That sounds perfect, guys," Brock says.
"And we'll get there ahead of time," Misty says.
"Yeah," Molly says.
Then Mew turns to the man, "Thanks, mister.
But when everyone turns back to the old fisherman, they find he's gone.
