Episode 96: The Screen Actor's Guilt

Mew and her friends are still making their way to Olivine City to reach the gym, every town they take, they get closer. As they walk down the sidewalk in the town, they hear the sound of loud screaming.

"Hey, what's that?" Mew asks, as she and the others turn their left.

They look to see a mob of girls, screaming and running in their direction.

Brock soon gets excited, "This is great! Somebody must've told all the girls in town that I was coming! Look at how happy they are to see me!"

All the girls run past them however.

"They must be so happy they forgot to stop," Misty says.

"Wait for me!" Brock cries out and chases after them.

"Brock, wait for us!" Mew calls out and chases after them.

Just then, a stranger comes running out of the alley holding a bundle

"Hey, kid," The voice of a man says.

The strange's sudden appearance startles the group.

"You gotta do me a favor and hold on to this for me," The man says, and presents the bundle.

Mew takes the bundle as the stranger hears the girls and looks back to see them running down the street behind him

"I gotta run. Uh, just wait here. I'll be back in a little while!" The man says and runs off.

"Wait, I don't even...!" Mew calls out.

"Thanks!" The stranger says as he runs into another alley, but loses his hat.

"I wonder what that guy's problem is," Misty says.

"Yeah," Brock says.

"And what was he in such a big rush to get rid of?" Tomo asks.

"Actually he wanted me to hold on to it," Mew confirms.

"What is it?" Jen asks.

"I don't know," Mew answers.

She then opens the bundle to reveal a Pokemon inside, a Smoochum, like the one Mew has.

Misty happily says, "Wow! What an adorable Pokemon!"

"It's so cute!" Molly says.

"Yeah, it sure is," Jen says.

"It's a Smoochum. And she sure is cute," Mew says.

Smoochum then gives Mew a kiss. She then gives Misty a kiss. Then she gives Molly, Jen, Tomo, and even Brock a kiss. Smoochum tries to give Pikachu a kiss, which urges him to try to make a break for it before Smoochum blocks his way.

"She sure is sweet," Mew says, and gets out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Smoochum, the Kiss Pokemon, the pre-evolved form of Jynx. And Ice and Psychic Type. This sweet natured Pokemon has sensitive lips which it uses to explore and examine with."

And then Smoochum tries to kiss Pikachu, and succeeds.

"Smoochum uses its kisses like other Pokemon and humans use touch, taste, smell, sight and hearing," Brock says.

The Smoochum then picks up and puts the hat the stranger dropped on its head before it bumps into Brock due to being unable to see.

"I like this hat, too," Brock says, and puts the hat on.

But then the mob of fangirls come screaming and running, elbowing our heroes while crowding Brock, causing Misty to drop Togepi.

"Toge..." Misty calls out.
