Episode 73: All That Glitters!

Mew and her friends are still on the road to the Johto League. Their next destination is Olivine city, where Mew hopes to earn her next badge. Right now, Brock, Misty, and Tomo are preparing lunch while Mew is polishing her badges while Jen, Molly, and the Pokemon watch.

"Pika..." (Shiny.) Pikachu says

Mew looks at the badges on the stump, "One Zephyr Badge...one Hive Badge...one Plain Badge...and one brand-new Fog Badge." and looks at the Fog Badge, "4 down and 4 to go!"

She then finishes, "There, they're all clean."

"You've been polishing them for sometime, Mew," Misty says.

Then Brock says, "Better be careful. Mew. If you keep this up, you'll shine a hole through it. Maybe you should give them to me and Misty, we'll hold them."

"Don't worry, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others are keeping an eye on them."

"Pika Pika!" (Absolutely!) Pikachu says.

"Eevee Eevee," (They're perfectly safe.) Eevee says.

But unknown to then, there are four pairs of yellow eyes watching from the bushes.

"Well, this is the moment you've been waiting for! Brock's Incredible-edible Mystery Stew is finally ready!" Brock says.

"Alright!" Tomo cheers.

"Yay!" Molly and Jen happily cheer.

"Come on, Mew! Let's see if we can guess what's in it this time!" Misty says.

"Sure. I just need to put my badges away for safekeeping," Mew says.

Suddenly, the Pokemon senses something.

"What's that matter, guys? You hear something?:Mew asks, and turns to their direction.

Soon, they see unknown objects poking out of the bushes.

"What do you think those things are?" Jen asks

"Beats me," Misty says.

"They sorta look like three feather dusters," Brock says.

Soon, Molly and Togepi go in for a closer look.

Sparkle calls out, "Pi-Pi-Pi!" (Togepi!) and rushes after them.

Molly, Togpei, be careful, they might be dangerous!"

Togepi pulls on one of the 'feather dusters' and finds out that all three of them are attached to something alive as they're pulled back into the bush before it's revealed that they were actually the tails of three Pokemon.

All three are avian Pokémon with black feathers. They're crooked, yellow beak and the three, feathery tufts on its head resemble a witch's nose and hat respectively. The feathery crest is smaller on the female than on the male. It has semi-circular, red eyes with white sclera and pupils and a spiky collar of feathers around its neck. The shaggy feathers on its tail resemble the end of a broom, and there is a thin, red band at the base of the tail. Its yellow feet have four toes, three facing forward and one backward.

"Togepi?" (Murkrow?) Togepi replies confused.

Sparkle feels the same, "Pika?" (Murkrow?)

"Murkrow?" Molly says, confused.

"Hey, Murkrow!" Mew says as she takes out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Murkrow, the Darkness Pokemon. A Dark and Flying Type. Murkrow confuse would-be attackers by luring them into dark mountain trails where they are sure to get lost."

Then the three Murkrow start to perform for the group.

"They seem like pretty nice Pokemon, to me," Misty says.
