Episode 148: The Ice Cave

Mew and her friends continue on their way to Blackthorn City so Mew can earn her final badge. They soon approach a huge mountain.

"We've come here at last," Brock says, reading the guidebook, "Blackthorn City is behind the mountain."

"Eh? We have to climb on the mountain again?" Misty questions.

"If it's the only way to get there, then we don't have much choice," Mew says.

But Tomo notices something ahead, "Hey guys, there's a fork in the road."

The group looks to see there is indeed a fork in the road.

"Which way should we go?" Molly asks.

Jen turns to Brock, "Did the guidebook say which way we need to go?"

"Hmmm..." Brock replies, reading the guidebook, "To the right is an ordinary mountain road. To the left, it looks like there is an ice cave."

"Ice cave?" The group replies in surprise.

"Yes, it's a shortcut to Blackthorn City. Inside of this cave is covered by ice," Brock says, still reading the guidebook.

"Sounds so cool," Tomo says.

"And it's apparently the fastest way to Blackthorn City," Mew says.

"I like to see the cave," Molly says.

"I'm sure Amaura will love it," Jen says. Then turns to her Pokemon, "Right, Amaura?"

"Amaura," Amaura happily replies.

"But... is it safe?" Misty asks.

"Maybe. Still, it beats going up another mountain," Mew says.

"You're right," Misty says.

"So let's go," Tomo says.

And with that, the group begins to make their way to the Ice Cave. Unaware that Team Rocket is spying on them again.

"Did you see that?" Meowth asks.

"Yes, I saw! Those twerps are heading to the ice cave,"

"Wobbuffet!" (They sure are!) Wobbuffet adds.

"The ice cave..." Jessie says. "I have an excellent idea!"

Up ahead, Mew and her friends arrive in the ice cave. They are captivated to see the shiny and glittering cave from the floor, to the walls, to the ceiling.

"Wow... so this is the ice cave," Mew says.

"It's so pretty," Molly says.

"The cave is really covered in ice!" Misty says.

"Anyhow, be careful. It's too slippery here," Brock says.

"Be careful, everyone," Mew says.

The Pokemon agree.

The group soon begins to walk into the cave to get to the other side. Misty almost slips, but Brock quickly grabs her.

"Are you okay, Misty?" Brock asks.

"I'm okay, but it's getting too slippery to walk," Misty says.

Molly slips and falls down, "It's getting harder to walk.

Mew thinks and has an idea, "I know."

Then Mew turns to Tomo, "Hey Tomo, I'll let out Ditto, and you let out Sealeo."

"What do you have in mind?" Tomo asks.

Soon enough, Mew and Tomo let out their Pokemon. Ditto transforms into Sealeo
