Episode 97: Right On, Rhydon!

One early morning, Mew and all her friends are fast asleep in their tent. Togepi soon wakes up and begins to walk towards the exit. Sparkle, Pikachu, and Eevee soon wake up as well before going outside, allowing some sun to shine in Mew's face, causing her to wake up.

Now outside of the tent, the four Pokemon are now playing together. Pikachu and Eevee soon look onto the lake and see something in the water. Sparkle and Togepi soon notice it too.

Pikachu calls out, "Pika Pi!" (Mew!)

Mew soon comes out of the tent as she lets out a yawn.

She soon asks, "What's the matter, Pikachu?

Pikachu points to the lake, but nothing is to be seen.

"Hmm, I don't see anything," Mew says.

Soon, they see what Pikachu saw before it comes out of the water, revealing itself to be a Rhydon, shocking them.

Later on, after the rest of the gang wake up, Mew explains to the others what she has seen.

"It couldn't have been a Rhydon," Brock says, in disbelief.

"Well, maybe it could've been, but it was!" Mew says.

Then Misty says, "You were both half asleep when you saw it. It must've been a Feraligatr or a Magikarp."

"Trust me Misty, what me and the other Pokemon saw was a Rhydon," Mew says.

"Then tell me how a rock Pokémon like Rhydon could live underwater," Misty replies.

"Misty, in case you forgot, we have quite a few Pokemon that can withstand their opposing elements, remember AJ's Sandshrew?" Mewe replies.

Misty tries to say something, but soon says, "Good point."

"So then, how can a Rhydon live underwater?" Mew asks

Before Mew can answer, someone answers, "I'll tell you how."

Everyone looks to see a young lady holding a Marill in her arms. She has green hair in a ponytail, blue eyes, and is wearing a pink shirt with a red collar around it. And her Marill is wearing a gold earring on her left ear.

"Very easily," The girl says.

Brock has been lovestruck and approaches the lady, "My name's Brock. Never mind telling us about Rhydon, miss, tell us about you."

"Well, my name is Pietra. And this is my Marill," The girl introduces herself.

"Marill," (Hello.) Marill says.

"Pietra? What an enchanting name. If you haven't had a morning beverage yet, perhaps you'd permit me to prepare a cup of tea that's as delicate and stimulating as yourself," Brock says in cloud nine.

Misty reaches over and grabs Brock's ear, causing Brock to scream, "Not the ear!"

"We're talking about the Rhydon, so hold the tea and cut the baloney," misty says.

Tomo then turns to Petra and asks, "But still, why would a Rhydon be swimming out in a lake?"

"It is unusual, but a Rhydon who lives nearby learned to use the Surf attack," Pietra says.

"That's funny. Rock types like Rhydon usually don't like the water," Brock says.

"True, but some Pokemon can perform attacks that they don't naturally use, take Eevee for example, she can use Thunderbolt," Mew says.

"Eevee," (That's right.) Eevee says.

Then Pierta interrupts, "About that Rhydon. Uh, which way did it go?"
