Mew and her friends continue on their journey to the Olivine City Gym. They look to see the dark clouds in the sky.

"The sky's getting dark. You think it's gonna rain?" Misty replies.

"Sure looks like it," Mew says.

Suddenly, they hear something.

"Hey, what's that sound?" Jen asks.

They soon turn to the right.

"It sounded like a camera shutter," Brock says.

Everyone looks and is surprised at what they're seeing.

"Look!" Brock says.

"Pika!" (It's him!) Pikachu says.

To Mew, Misty, Brock, and Tomo's surprise, they see their old friend Todd.

"Hey! Is that our old friend, Todd?" Tomo asks, excited.

Todd turns to see his friends.

"Hi Todd!" Mew calls out.

Todd happily says, "Mew, Misty, Brock, and Tomo too."

Even Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi, Skwovet, and Meloetta happily say hello to Todd.

Soon, everyone approaches Todd.

"Hey, Todd. Good to see you again," Brock says.

"How are you doing, Todd?" Misty asks.

"I'm doing great," Todd says, "And it's really great to see all of you guys again."

"I know. It's been a while, hasn't it?" Mew says.

And remembers the last time they've seen Todd. Back in Kanto Todd has traveled with them for a short while, but go their separate ways. Mew and her friends head off to Cinnabar Island for Mew's Gym Battle while Todd heads to the mountains to take pictures.

Todd soon notices, "And it really had been a while because you got some new friends."

"Hello Todd, my name is Jen, and this is Amura," Jen says

"I'm Molly, it's nice to meet you," Molly says.

"And this is my Pikachu, Sparkle," Misty says.

"It's nice to meet you," Todd says.

Then Misty asks, "So what's up, Todd? Still taking lots of Pokémon pictures?

"You bet!" Todd says, and takes out his album to see the Pokemon photos, "Just check these out! Isn't this Bellsprout cute? And look at the sad expression on that Gloom's face. That Weepinbell really cracks me up. And look at this happy little Hoppip I found."

"You sure have got a lot of talent, Todd," Brock says.

"It looks like you've been concentrating on taking grass Pokémon," Misty notices.

"Yep. I bet I have one of the most complete collections of candid grass Pokémon pictures in the whole world. But, what I really want for my album is a shot of an Articuno," Todd explains.

Everyone is surprised to hear it.

"An Articuno? One of the Legendary Birds?" Tomo asks.

Mew giggles, "Yeah. I remember we first met one back on the Orange Islands around Shamouti."

"How can we forget that?" Misty replies with a smile.

"Really? You met an Articuno?" Todd asks, amazed.

"Yeah. It's a long story," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Articuno, the Freeze Pokémon. An Ice and Flying Type. This Legendary Pokémon, with wings like thin sheets of ice, is believed to possess the ability to freeze water vapor and create snow."
