Today, Mew and her friends are hiking through the mountain regions to reach Mahogany Town. As they hike up the mountain, the weather begins to change and fog begins to cover their view.
"Wow, this fog sure came in quickly," Brock says.
"Yeah, maybe we should stop," Misty says.
"Toki-pree." (Yes we should.) Topgei agrees.
"You and Togepi are right. We don't want to get separated from each other," Mew says.
Then what do we do?" Molly asks.
Suddenly, they hear something calling out, "Nine... Nine..."
The group remains still in concern.
"What's that?" Jen asks.
Tomo soon notices, "Look."
The group looks to see a beautiful woman wearing a pink kimono, a blue vest, and has dark purple hair in two buns. There is also a Kantoean Ninetales behind her
"Who are you?" Brock asks.
Misty soon notices, "Wow! What an awesome Ninetales."
The Ninetales approaches and looks at Brock.
"It's beautiful," Jen says.
Mew brings out her Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Ninetales, the Fox Pokémon. Kanto Form. A Fire Type. Ninetales is the evolved form of Vulpix. Each of its tails contain a different mystical power."
Brock gets up and says, "You are a vision of beauty! They call me Brock! What do they call you, my sweetest of sweets?!"
"My name is Lokoko," The woman introduces herself, "And you mustn't walk these mountains in the mist. Stay with me until it clears."
"Wow! A dazzling beauty on the inside and the outside," Brock says, happily.
"Um, are you sure that would be okay?" Misty asks.
"Sure," Lokoko says, "My home is not far at all. So let's get going."
"Okay," Mew says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is seen lying on the ground, completely famished.
"I'm so hungry," Jessie says.
"I can't do no more hikin'," Meowth says.
"I'm officially on strike," James says.
"Put a fork in us," Team Rocket says.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet calls out.
Uh?" Jessie replies.
Jessie looks behind the rock she and her teammates are sitting in front of and sees Wobbuffet.
"Oh, what's your problem?" Jessie asks.
"Wobbuffet," Wobbuffet says.
"Return!" Jessie says.
Wobbuffet is recalled as the others pop out
"I hoid someting," Meowth says.
"It came from that direction," Jessie says.
They then see a bunch of figures walking up the path.
"Is it?" James asks.
"It is. It's those traveling twerps," Jessie says.
"Hey, check out dat lady with da lantern. And dat Ninetales," Meowth says.
"It's perfect!" Jessie happily says, "Not only do we grab Pikachu, but we'll get that Ninetales as an additional bonus!"
Team Rocket cheers, "Hooray!"
