Chapter 9: Embracing the Dark Side

You, Kirishima, and Sero make your way into the building. The weapon is on the fifth floor, and you lift the three of you up faster using ice.

"Alright, Asui and Tokoyami are probably going to be difficult to deal with. We'll need a good plan to win..." Kirishima says.

"I can put tape all around this room and the stairs and stuff." Sero suggests.

"Good idea! I can make the stairs slides using ice to keep them from using them and cover everything else with ice!" You add.

"And I can deal with Dark Shadow if they get through. Hey! You two know what happens if you stick you tongue on cold metal in winter, right?"

"Kirishima you're a genius! Where's some scrap metal? We can tape it around the weapon!" You smile. The three of you get to work and before you know it, it's time for the heroes to come in.

Just as you put the final piece of metal up, you sense them enter. "They're in!" Your water sensing abilities aren't very strong, but thanks to your helmet you can see how far away they are. You make sure everything is covered in slippery ice before shutting the door to the weapon room. You and Sero seal it shut.

"There's no way they're getting through this!" Kirishima smiles. You hear a slam outside and when you run to the window, you come face to face with Tsuyu. She's holding Tokoyami with her tongue beside her.

"Ah! Shit! They're here!" You yell. Dark Shadow hits you with a hard blow that sends you flying into the tape. Luckily, you didn't hit the tape around the weapon. You quickly freeze it to free yourself as Kirishima runs at the two who had just invaded the room.

"Kirishima! Watch out! Sero! Get ready!" You yell as you hit them with a blast of water. The force slams them into the wall by the door.

Sero quickly tapes them to the wall and they're unable to move. Except for Dark Shadow.

"Dark Shadow! Get the weapon!" Tokoyami yells. Dark Shadow launches forward, but Kirishima jumps in his path.

"No way are we letting you win!" He yells.

You attempt to freeze Dark Shadow but he's moving too fast, and you don't want to catch Kirishima in the blasts.

While Dark Shadow is distracting everyone, Tsuyu attempts to grab the weapon with her tongue. Sero notices, and he shoots tape at one of the hanging pieces of metal to pull it into her path. Tsuyu doesn't have time to react before her tongue gets stuck to the metal.

"Shit!" Dark Shadow slips past Kirishima and heads straight at the weapon. Both you and Sero launch ice and tape respectively to block him. The attacks form a messy wall of ice, tape, and metal to block Dark Shadow. Kirishima weaves through the tape to stop him from smashing the wall as you reinforce it. Sero ties Dark Shadow up with tape before attempting to tug him away.

"Don't give up, Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami yells.

"Don't let him through!" You yell as you run to help Sero. Kirishima needs more help, but it's be impossible to get in there with all of the tape. You try to freeze Dark Shadow, but he breaks it in no time.

He slams Kirishima into the wall you put up, and it starts to crack. As you lift your arm to try and fix it however, All Might's voice fills the room. "Time's up! The match is now over! The villain team wins!" You hear Tokoyami grunt in frustration and Tsuyu sighs.

"Oh man, that was close!" Sero sighs. You nod your head and Kirishima returns his skin to normal. Remembering Tsuyu's tongue, you rush over.

"Asui! I'll get your tongue off!" You cut the tape holding the metal with water and bring it closer to her. You carefully heat the frost on the metal to unstick her.
