"Jeez... I seriously still can't believe you guys were attacked by a bunch of Nomu and the Hero Killer!" Mina says. "What was it like?"
You have to pause before speaking as you remember you have secrets to keep. "Well... He was definitely terrifying and intimidating. The Nomu was weird, because it seemed to be just attacking anything that moved. Actually, the same one that gave me these yanked Midoriya up for a few seconds." You gesture to the wounds on your shoulders.
"I'm surprised Recovery Girl hasn't healed them fully," Uraraka tells you.
"She's probably focusing on the wound in her stomach for now," Tsuyu replies.
"Exactly, I guess she got the major damage on all of them after I had surgery while I was still out. Since I've come back she's been trying to keep my stomach from opening up but he hit a few organs so it's taking longer than expected to get everything healed. It should only be a few more days though!"
"You were lucky to make it out alive with wounds like that..." Momo says.
"I really need to properly thank Todoroki... I would have gotten a knife in the chest if he hadn't blocked it with his arm..."
"Wow! Todoroki sure can be a gentleman when he isn't off in his own world! How'd he react to the Hero Killer??"
You find yourself struggling how to answer without spilling the truth. "Well..."
"Guys, let's leave her be. Y/n probably doesn't want to think about it." Uraraka says, sensing your discomfort.
"Sorry, Y/n!"
"No worries, besides it was Endeavor who did all of the fighting. We just got a bit banged up before he got there, really. We would have been in trouble if he hadn't shown up," you tell them.
Interrupting the conversation, your phone loudly meows. A few of the girls begin to laugh and you quickly grab it.
"That's such a cute notification sound! Why haven't I heard it before?" Hagekure says.
"I usually keep my ringtone on silent, but I guess I forgot... It's just for my friend in the other class."
"One of the girls in 1B?"
"Oh no, he's in the general course." You smile.
"Ooo it's a boy! Let me see what he said!" Mina leans her head over your phone from in front of you. "Dinner!! He asked you to dinner!!"
You laugh at the excitement in Mina's eyes as the other girls step closer.
"Y/n, what boy is this? Do you know him well?"
"Don't worry Yaomomo, we've been friends since I moved here! And you-" You push Mina's head back with your forefinger. "He asked if I wanted to eat with him because we eat together a lot and are best friends!"
"I don't know, it sounds like he's into you!" Mina says. "He's even asking where you are so he can help you with your things!"
"He's not into me...!" Your face flushes as you finish straightening your tie, thinking back on the events of that morning. "He's just a friend is all!"
"She's totally blushing!!" Hagekure laughs.
"Y/n has a crushhh!!" Mina teases you. "What's this guy like to catch your attention?"
"I do not have a crush on him, he's my best friend! And he's really sweet...!"
"No way, it's that scary guy from the Sports Festival, isn't it!" Mina laughs. "The one who fought Midoriya!"
"He's my friend, that's all!" You cover your cheeks with your hands as the two girls tease you. "And he's not scary, he's really nice...!"
"That's enough, you're embarrassing Y/n." Momo scolds them. "Y/n there's nothing wrong with having a crush-"
