As the clock struck midnight, Virgil smiled at his new boyfriend and linked their fingers together. He never thought he'd find someone, let alone as his time ran out. He knew what Roman's thoughts were about him, but he didn't care. He was happy now.
Of course, his feelings for a certain aspect hadn't faded, but he didn't care, he was happy if only that would last.

He grinned at the sleeping couple and pulled out the poison, set to work overnight. He didn't care that what he was doing was wrong, things would be better without them.
He emptied the vial into their lips, and walked away, knowing if he played his card right, no one would ever know it was him.
