Loki, the god of Mischief, a prince of Asgard, the personification of chaos and all that is magic, spat out his Starbucks frappe when he first heard that Peter Stark-Strange was dating Deadpool.

Loki stared at Natasha and Stephen, who were sitting across from him, painting their nails as they gossiped at the Avenger's kitchen table. "Excuse me, what the fuck did you just say?!"

"Peter's going out with that Wade guy. You know, the regenerating, chimichanga antihero that he goes to school with?" Nat replied, snickering. "Who'd have thought, right?"

Loki sat in obvious silence, lost in a train of thought that both of the gossiping duo knew was not good. After a few long minutes, with Natasha and Stephen staring at the god of mischief, waiting for a response, he spoke up. "Please excuse me, I must go."

Peter's aunt and father watched as Loki disappeared, eying in angrily retreating teenager. Stephen rolled his eyes, picking up a glittery overcoat. "How much do you want to bet that he has a thing for Peter, and is scheming to break them up?"

"Every dollar to my name." The Black Widow snickered loudly.

"Same." Stephen replied, snapping his fingers as he came up with an idea. "Want to go find a moron to sucker out of their life savings?"

Natasha nodded, with the duo slamming up from the table, shouting in sync. "Oh Steve!"

Jealousy was a very fickle thing to a Norse god, especially one who had been overshadowed by his brother for his entire life. As such, Loki was used to manipulating situations to get his way, especially when he came down with a case of jealousy.

And at that very moment, watching as the newest formed couple spare fun the training room, there was no one who Loki was more jealous over than Wade Wilson.

Peter's laughter rang through the air, making the Invisible god smile, before Deadpool joined in. Loki narrowed his eyes at the blonde teenager across the room, mumbling below his breath as he fled towards any other section of the tower.

He didn't want to see another moment of their cheery bliss.

"How am I going to win Peter's affection?" Loki asked himself, rummaging through his bookcase to find an assortment of love themed spell books. "Love potion? No, i won't take his free will away. Negative thinking curse... no, I want Peter to realise Wade's not good enough for him, not the other way around."

"No, no, no..." Loki grumbled, searching through the books frantically. Sure, he wanted to be in a relationship with Peter, but not through manipulation. He wanted the Stark-Strange teen to pick him over Wade, or, at least, leave Wade and eventually be with him.

"This is it! Shapeshifting!" Loki exclaimed proudly, slamming the spell book down onto his desk. The god could already shapeshifter, of course, but this particular stream of magic was different - more related to aspects of the heart.

For his plan to work, Loki would need to clone himself - with that clone shapeshifting into Wade, leaving the real Loki in full control of the Deadpool clone. Then he could destroy their relationship from the inside out.

Which is exactly what he started to do.

Wandering into the kitchen, Loki-Wade found Peter extremely quickly. The brunette was eating some toast, staring out the kitchen window in a daze.

"You good, Petey?" The Wade clone asked, attempting to make his words sound like something Deadpool would.

Peter looked up with a grin. "Wow, you didn't take long in the bathroom. It's been what, thirty second? And yup! I'm thinking about all the types of toast in the world. Do you think they sell bread for toasting that has chocolate in the middle? That would be delicious."

"Uh, sure?" Loki-Wade replied awkwardly, looking around the kitchen.

"Is something up?" Peter asked narrowing his eyes, noticing Loki-Wade's odd behaviour. Wade was never awkward. Ever.

The god's heart jolted lightly, with hidden panic setting in. He needed a way to prove that he was actually Wade - Peter's boyfriend - before he could destroy their relationship.

Loki, in the form of Wade, bent down to give Peter a kiss - feeling extremely uncomfortable in doing so. Peter's eyes immediately widened in alarm, with the teen stepping backwards.

"Woah, woah, woah, Wade - no kissing, remember?" Peter exclaimed, shaking his head.

"What?" The Loki-Wade responded before he could help himself, blinking at his (as much as he hated the word) crush.

At that moment, the real Wade waltzed into the kitchen - forcing his clone to disappear into thin air, with the real Loki jolting into its place.

Wade and Peter stared at the Norse god for a moment, who's expression clearly showed the jealousy, anger, confusion, and fear he was feeling.

"I, uhm, I was just-" Loki attempted to come up with an excuse, but his mind was drawing at blank. The real Wade burst out laughing, with Peter giggling lightly.

"What's so funny?!" Loki exclaimed, blushing a deep red in embarrassment.

Between breathy laughs, Wade spoke up, beyond amused. "Well, you! I'm not dating Spider-Man, he's one of my best friends. Total besties - platonic. I'm dating Eddie, you know, Venom?"

Loki's mouth feel open in a wide gap, while Wade continued. "Peter here was trying to make you jealous!"

"And it worked, I suppose?" Peter asked, smirking at the god with a mischievous gleam in his eye.

"I- uh, I-" Loki spluttered loudly, blinking rapidly at the son of Tony and Stephen Stark-Strange. "...yes."

Wade stared at the two, waiting for one of them to make a move. When neither did, Wade rolled his eyes. "Now kiss and get together!"

"WADE!"
