Sasha's POV
I'm walking in the high school to bring Josie something she forgot. She needs certain shoes for dance practice after school. I get to the main hall, and Lance sees me.
"Hey Sasha!" He says with a grin.
"Hey Principal Mills"
He chuckles. "Considering I was in your wedding, you can call me Lance now" he smirks.
"Sorry. Old habits" I smile.
He laughs and shakes his head. "Anything I can help you with?"
I adjust Drew on my hip. He's being wiggly.
Lance chuckles as he reaches his hands out for him. Drew goes to him, and grins his dazzling grin at him.
"Man, he's cute" Lance says, admiring Drew.
"Thanks, I think so"
Drew grabs his nose, and chortles his belly laugh.
Lance laughs, nibbling on his fingers, bringing another round of hysterics from Drew.
"I want one of these one day" he says sadly.
I nod. "They're pretty great"
He nods, and puts him on his hip, looking back at me.
"Josie forgot these, and wanted me to bring them to her."
He nods. "She's in Henry's class this hour. You're welcome to bring them up to her, or you can leave them with me and I can page her."
"I'll just go up there if that's ok. I wanted to talk to Mason real quick anyways."
He nods as he looks at Drew. "You going to see your daddy?" He asks.
"Dada!" Drew squeals, looking at me excitedly.
"Well come on, short-stuff. Let's go see daddy" I say, reaching my hands out to him.
He goes to me, and then wiggles so I will let him walk.
"Hold my hand, k?" I ask him.
"Oooo K" he says, nodding his head seriously.
Lance laughs. "Obedient little thing" he snorts.
"Sometimes" I chuckle as we start walking.
"Thanks Principle.......Thanks Lance" I say over my shoulder. He nods as he gives me a smile, walking back to his office.
We get to Ms. Henry's class first. I know that Josie has Mason this year, so it surprises me that she has Henry too. I wonder if she is teaching Geography this year.
I peek my head in, and Ms. Henry sees me. She has to do a double take. She comes out to the hall and shuts the door.
"Sasha Preston? How the heck are ya, girly?" She asks, giving me hug.
"I'm good, Ms. Henry. How are you?"
"Can't complain. What the heck are you doing here?"
"Sorry to disrupt. Josie needs these and I have to get to my first class soon. I needed to bring them now."
I'm surprised that she looks so confused.
"Josie who?" She asks.
"Josie West. Is she not in this class this hour?"
She is even more confused. "How do you know Josie West?" She asks.
"Er, what?" I ask.
"I don't understand how you even know her, let alone enough to bring her shoes."
