                                                                       Eve Minerva's Point Of View

The sounds of the Palace Guards running around like chickens without heads served to show just how shocked and confused everyone was currently. The questions that were mumbled aloud didn't help to quell any of the fear that was beginning to consume them either.

" Attack?"

" Betrayal?"

" God's Anger?"

" Oh, Princess... The room is so dirty now with all of the soot and glass... It's going to take forever to clean up..."

And then there was Daisy's reaction. Perhaps as a Maid who's never see war or battles, a giant explosion is just too far away from her daily life. Granted, the explosion feels like a lullaby compared to the hell that Uncle Cain had put me through. Thankfully he's released me from his training and is now busy teaching Shane 1 on 1. Shane looked at me with tears as I left... Not from missing me, more so because he wished there was someone to split Uncle's attention. Without anyone there, he'd be receiving the full brunt of Uncle Cain's training. I tried to hold back my smile somewhat as I was walking away from them. I mean, Uncle Cain's teachings are fantastic, but we've been working so hard for nearly 2 years and there were no breaks! Every day in and out, from jogging to kata to sparring sessions to then studying where we went wrong while sparring... It was a lot and I'm thankful for the break. I was even more thankful when I found out the reason my training was dismissed, my Father wanted me to come with him to the King's Summit to be by his side when we launched our first strike against our enemies. And I knew that he'd be there that day. Something inside my heart just knew it. And then he was. I wondered if he could figure out what we were doing, watching the realization slowly dawn on him was so much fun.

" Princess Eve, what are you smiling about right now?"

" Hm?"

Daisy interrupted my thoughts.

" Oh, you stopped, your smile was so pretty though? What were you just thinking about? Was it a boy? Did you meet someone while training with General Cain? Was it romantic?"

" A boy?"

Why did his face flash into my mind!? Romance!? Ridiculous! I'm a warrior first! Princess 2nd! And woman 3rd! Romance shouldn't even enter my mind! Let alone that foolish Human's face!

" It wasn't a boy! It was the person behind the explosion! The prisoner!"

" Hm? Are you just trying to hide your embarrassment? Ah, never mind, I'm sure our immature Princess will let me in to her thoughts eventually... fufufu..."

Daisy seemed to finally be in a better mood, I'll just keep my corrections to myself, I'd rather she'd be somewhat joyful instead of a nervous wreck. Especially considering where we were heading.

" WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED FIRST!"

I could hear my Father's shouting before I even opened the door to the Throne Room. It looks like the Royal Court and Guards can't offer an explanation that's acceptable. Daisy and I walked into the Throne Room after waiting for the Doormen to open the giant green doors with golden accents. Green and Gold being the Royal Colors after all. We walked into the Throne Room to see my Father speaking to his Court as if they were unruly children.

" What do we know for sure!?"

My Father shouted at his Court, looking to see what we know for sure. The first person to step up was the Royal Chancellor, Phillip. He began to speak.

" My King, what we know for certain are 3 things. The first being that the explosion has completely destroyed both the 8th and 9th sections of the Royal Dungeons, along with that, we've lost the entirety of the 5th Supplementary Armory. Along with that, Sections, 5 through 7 of the Royal Dungeons have featured heavy damage. Along with that, it's been sighted that at least 60 prisoners have made a run for it due to the cell bars being damaged upon the explosion's impacts. We've already sent word to the City Guards and Police to watch over the citizens."
