" M... My arm! It... It's back!"

" Yeah, I want you to head West to the other troops, they should be looking for more injured like you were, I want you to help them find more for when I make my way back, also speak to either Lieutenant Tala or Lieutenant Denise, they'll inform you of what's happening, understood?"

" Y... Yes, Sir!"

A Demon from Paradise certainly did act different compared to the Western Border's troops when I heal them. I just healed a Demon from Paradise, one of the women who came marching along with me. When I found her, she was bleeding out and trapped under another large Demon, I'm assuming the other Demon was able to shield her from the worst of the assault from the tanks. Because of that, she lived, but the big Demon didn't I was able to find her because I noticed her bleeding stump under the body of the Demon. With her leaving the scene, I continued to take a look around, searching for any signs of movement. Once I was sure that no one else was alive, I began to make my way further West.

/ Swoosh!/

I began to run West as I thought back to how glad I was about my recent experiment. I've been thinking about how I could heal someone who's lost a limb during battle, the reason why was the fact that I kept running into amputees recently, from King Alan to quite a few Demons here at the Western Border. I thought that there must be some way to heal them, I decided to test a theory I thought up the other day. It's nothing crazy, I just used both Regeneration and Holy Heal together at once. When I was doing it, I notices that it felt like the Regeneration Spell seemed to fit around Holy Heal's mana like it was a glove and it looked to work. Judging by the reactions of both Lieutenant Tala and this other Demons that I've healed, it seems to do the trick. I still think that I need to do a bit more testing for this mixture of spells though, I've been able to make it work, but this is the first time that I've done it. And it does feel somewhat unwieldy, I guess time will tell if I can actually master it? I mean, I haven't even gotten a notification about this Spell from the System, so I wonder if it'll even count as a unique Spell? Or maybe it's just that the 2 Spells work well with each other and boost their effects? I don't know... this seems like a question I should be asking Aqua instead of trying to figure it out as I'm running through a wasteland.

/ Thump!/

Speaking of which, I saw something that made me take pause... It's... The cage that the Elves were in... Only it was broken, shattered into pieces, I wouldn't even know that it was the cage if not for a piece of the floor remaining somewhat intact. The cage was made from Anna's Goddesses, it made more sense to use the Earth Goddess and Nature Goddess's abilities to make the cage as opposed to Gil and Lily, they might be Spirit Sovereigns, but they're not Goddesses.

" We could've made a fine cage though, couldn't we have, Queen Lily?"

" If push came to shove, but if the Nature Goddess wished to take the reigns, someone as insignificant as I will simply follow her rule. Flowers follow the laws of nature after all."

That's what the both of them had to say when I broached the topic to them. I was thankful that they were okay with it, I have no idea how I would be able to calm Lily down, she's already mad at me most days for one thing or another. Focusing back on what was important, the cage was broken into pieces and there were both Elf and Demon corpses all around. I looked to see if anything was moving and I did catch a few people breathing. I quickly brought my hands up and repeated what I've been doing.

" Holy Heal."

The words left my lips, though I made sure to cast Regeneration as well. Just like the last few times, I felt the spells combine... Though this time, it felt less like Regenerate was fitting around Holy Heal and more like it was trying to mix with it... I thought it felt... Off? I guess would be the word? Regardless of that, I felt the Spell reach out and begin to heal all of the living people left. In a few moments, I began to see more and more movement on the ground. Eventually, 15 Demons stood up from the corpses of around 100.
