                                                                     Vick Pike's Point Of View

" Die you insolent scum!"

" Never you weak fool!"

/ CLANG! ... SLASH!/

" What!?"

He looked shocked, this Elf I'm fighting doesn't seem to know that we could cut magic... What the hell are they doing back in their weak country? Regardless, I'm not going to miss the opportunity.

/ SLASH!/

" AH!"

/ THUD!/

Another one down! Sure, the plan was to eventually bring in prisoners, but this is war, no one can complain if you wipe out the enemy that's attempting to invade you. It doesn't matter what that up-jump human thinks. This is war, and taking prisoners is an act of mercy that wasn't truly afforded to us when they attacked King Warrick and Queen Aqua at the Summit. Why should we give them the mercy they denied it to the Royal Guards and stationed guards at that foolish Summit? Death is the only correct answer for them. And I've now added another to the pile, now for more. I look around and I can hear the screeching of blades against other blades, I'm sure my own sword had made similar sounds during the battle with this pompous fool. No, I can't get lost in my anger, I need to fight more... I need to kill more Elves, no matter what, even if it's the last thing I do. I looked around this area, a mountainous region, when we first arrived, it was dry, almost like it hadn't rained around the are in days. I'm sure the plants looked as if they were entering the beginning of the dying process from the lack of water, regardless, now, they were quite fool. Blood, sweat, spit and anything else you could think of had begun to sink into the land from the ongoing battles, now the once dry looking area had become filled with mud. TO the point where I could feel my 4 legs beginning to sink into the ground, it's becoming difficult to fight in this area... Maybe that's why I'm the only one still here? Everyone had moved to dryer land, or the forested area behind us to the East.

" !"

/ SWOOSH!/

" Ah, you dodged, that's no fun, I'd like it a lot more if you would've taken that shot full on."

I felt something approaching me from behind as I was thinking of what to do next. An attack from behind, that's something to watch out for on the battlefield. Thankfully I'm well trained. With all of the noise around me, I had to rely on senses besides my eyes and ears and that's exactly what was drilled into me from my instructors during my training. I looked at the culprit, it was another Elf, short blonde hair, green eyes, a look in his eyes like he's above fighting a Demon, he's just like the last 2 I've killed.

" You know, with that, I'm 2 for 3 in terms of killing you lot with one blow. That makes me quite sad, you mutt. Though, when it comes to dogs, I suppose when they displease you, the only right thing to do as a good owner is correct them, wouldn't you agree? Or is your kind truly too stupid to comprehend what I'm saying?"

/ SHING!/

" Hmph!"

I had enough of his insults, I sent a Flying Slash his way. He quickly dodged it without much fanfare. It looks as if this one has good reflexes, well, I suppose that means this'll at least be entertaining to some degree. I could feel a grin forming on my face as I thought about what to try next...

" Quite rude of you, you know? Attacking me with no warning."

" You did the same to me, you long-eared freak."

My choice of insult seemed to irritate him, at least that's what I'd imagine the twitch of those ears of his was telling me.

" !"
