" Huh? Again?"

I voiced my thoughts as I looked around. Again, the red light appeared and disappeared! Also, Alice, Ruby and Cynthia were blushing for some reason!? What the hell is going on!? This isn't normal! Wait! Cynthia was just trying to find out why I was burned! She's forgotten! That's a win! But still... The light...

" Hm? What's the matter, Matthew?"

Charlotte called out to me; she saw me looking around the room. Am I going crazy? Did they really not see any of it?

" The red light... It came again!"

Charlotte looked like she had no idea what I was talking about? What the hell? Did the Elves actually do something to me?

" No. They failed spectacularly at that, John. Don't worry about the red light, if anything, you should take this as a sign of good fortune. Cynthia's forgotten about your idiotic tactic with the Angel's Spear. Now you just need Ruby to stand up so you can to."

Angela's voice reverberated in my mind. So... The red light is real... But I shouldn't worry about it? Do I have that right?

" Yes. Now then... Ruby! Off! Now!"

Angela was angry for some reason... Regardless, I guess I should get out of this position... Before Cynthia remembers what she was doing before the light. I quickly turned to a blushing Ruby who was currently straddling me... Wait... This position now that I think about it, it's kind of dangerous in a few ways... Oh no! She's moving! I need to separate us!

" Uhm... Ruby... Can I stand up now?"

" Hm?..."

Ruby looked back at me while blushing... Seriously... What did that red light do!?

" !!!"

She took a look up and down and figured out that we were more or less in the cowgirl position. I saw her eyes nearly pop out of her head and without a second to breath, she had already jumped off of me. She began to fan herself as Alice and Cynthia put a hand on each of her shoulders. I guess it is embarrassing to a degree... But to be fair, she was just glad I was still alive.

" Okay... So, I can trust that you 3 aren't going to try and storm Alfheim any time soon, right?"

To my words, the 3 musketeers all nodded their heads to me. I nodded my own head and said the first thing that came to my mind.

" Good... I'm thankful for your feelings, but I'd never want any of you to risk yourselves like that. If any of you had gotten hurt or worse... Well, I'm just glad I was able to get free when I could. I'm going to head back to Sarah and Anna now. Get some sleep, I'm sure tomorrow will be hectic."

With what I had to say finished... I quickly walked to the door. As I walked outside, I noticed something... What I thought would happen is that all of the girls would head back home, but instead...

/ Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap./

I looked behind me to confirm the noise. All 4 of the girls were following me out the door.

" Wait!"

" Hm? What's the matter, Matthew?"

Cynthia quickly called out to me.

" Weren't you guys going to go to sleep?"

" Hm? What do you mean? Obviously, we're going to make sure you make it back home safe and sound! And from now on, you should always travel with at least 2 armed guards."

" Huh? What do you mean? I'm back in Paradise, I should be fine. People have more important things to do that guar-"

" Shush!"
