/ Shoo!/
The breathing of the Dragon continues to fill our surroundings as we finally made it to the top of the mountain that the Dragon has made it's nest. Now that we were there, we could all get a good look at the Dragon for the first time.
" Wow..."
I couldn't stop the word from escaping my lips. The Dragon... It's gigantic... Like 2 Battleships lined up from back to front. It's gigantic, we're like ants compared to it...
" Man... Jaime, are you sure your Mana Storage will be able to hold that thing?"
" I think so. Maybe a few days ago, I couldn't, but ever since I advanced to Master Mana, everything's become better."
" Okay..."
The fool turned to ask Jaime a question. It was to confirm something now that we've seen the size of the Monster... To say I was surprised to hear her say she could hold the Monster in her Mana Storage is an understatement.
" Okay, we'll follow the plan to the letter, if any of our attacks don't work, we need to get away from it as soon as possible, use anything you can to escape, except betraying your partner, understood?"
Jessie reminded us of our escape plan, basically, we're pairing, Lucy with me, Ashley with Jaime and finally, Jessie and the fool. The idea is that we can all cover for our weaknesses with our teammates. In case that didn't work out, however, I'll be able to get Lucy out with some of my Magic and Jaime will be able to teleport out with Ashley using her Magic. As for Jessie and the fool, apparently Jessie has some way to escape. With that, it was all down to actually getting into position to attack the Dragon.
" Okay, we'll have Laura and Lucy go first, again, are you both sure you want to be the first line? Luke and I don't min-"
" It's fine, Lucy and I both want to test out a few things from our training. I guess all we need to do now is descend into the nest? There's footholds on the walls, looks like the Dragon had to either break through to the top or dug with it's claws to the bottom of the cave. Either way, we should be thankful that it's work is sloppy."
" Alright."
Jessie was fine with my final say on the matter, from what I could see, the fool was somewhat unwilling to have us go first. Why that was, was anyone's guess. Meanwhile, Lucy was actually somewhat excited it seemed.
" I can't believe I'm going to be testing my progress with my training on a Dragon... It seems like too high of a hurdle, but for some reason... I feel like this is going to go well?"
" I'm glad someone's optimistic. We should probably draw our weapons, right?"
" Yeah, remember though, don't cast Magic yet, cause it'll probably sense us. We should aim sneak attack him from the back, draw his attention, then let the others attack him."
" Oh? It's a male? How do you know?"
" Well, just look at the cave? No woman would have it look so drab, right?"
" Fair enough."
Lucy's good mood began to infect me as well... We quickly drew our weapons, my mace, her daggers, with that, we're ready to head out."
" Be careful."
The fool's voice entered our ears, seems he's concerned about Lucy after all?
" Let's go!"
" Maybe don't shout that loudly when trying to sneak up on a S-Class Monster, Ashley?"
" Oh... Right... Sorry?"
