Chapter 464. Full Alliance Meeting

"So... Alice is Betrothed to Matthew now?"

" Yes, that's the long and short of it, besides that... There might be a decent chance that he never wants to step foot in Bestia again. However, considering that he will wind up Marrying Alice anyways, he might end up visiting quite a bit?"

" I won't force him to go, but it would be nice on occasion... I wonder if I could get him and Mother to make up somehow? Also Adam... This is complicated..."

Currently, Sarah and Anna were in the midst of explaining what we've missed from the trip to Bestia... It was shocking to say the least. To hear that Matthew nearly attacked Royalty to Alice's ascension to a Fiancé... It's a lot to take in.

"  You should calm down for now, Alle. You should be focusing on the good. You have a free ticket to deepen your relationship with him. Focus on that for now, once you've confirmed that you both will get married, then we can all think about how to mend fences, okay?'

" Okay..."

Alice seemed to relax a small amount from the stress that she's been experiencing ever since she came back from Bestia thanks to Sarah's advice. I could see the sister dynamic that's popped up time and time again when it comes to their interactions. Their sisterly dynamic has reared it's head again. They've had interactions like this quite a few times both before and after going to Zana. Though the content of their conversations had changed quite a bit since Zana.

" Ruby. This group... It's..."

" I know, Emily... I know..."

It's been about an hour since Matthew and the rest of his group returned from Bestia... Well, actually from Blackstone since Queen Aqua was the one to bring them to Bestia from Blackstone, but that fact hardly matters right now. We, all the members of the Alliance, minus Paula, were currently sitting in this room. Emily, Mary and I were just introduced to Asha Clearfield, the Eldest Daughter of the Clearfield Duke Family and Sharon Ashblade, the Eldest Daughter of the Ashblade Baron Family. The final 2 members of the group that repelled the invasion of the Hero Party 2 years ago along with Matthew, Sarah, Anna and Cynthia. Though... Their impressions were somewhat different than what I've been told in the past.

" He needed to go and meditate... Seriously... It's like he's running from us."

" Asha, he already told us that he also wanted to give us girls some time together. If you keep acting cranky like that, he'll be even more surprised about your feelings than Alice's."

Asha seemed quite displeased with Matthew's actions, but it's not as if it's his fault. To transport everyone in their group to Paradise, he had to use up all of his mana, after Anna won the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with Sarah, she gave Matthew some of her mana through a kiss. Everyone in the room was quite jealous, but Anna chose to ignore us with her countless eyes as she happily locked lips with Matthew. Once he woke up, he decided to head to the garden to meditate. He said it was to regenerate his mana, but Mary was quick to point out that with him gone, along with the butlers that work as his direct servants, the only people left in the room were all the women. The Alliance decided to have a meeting where everyone could finally meet face to face. It's easy to believe he would do something like that, but for some reason it irks me... It's almost like he thinks that we don't want to talk to him. But either way, we couldn't stop him from leaving and we were left to hear the news.

" Asha, you need to calm down a bit. You and Sharon both are going to be able to stay here for a month, then you'll need to head home. Anna and I will make sure he has time to give you both a tour around the city and show you sights, you'll need to take advantage of that. Along with that, we'll be needing to prepare time for Alice and Matthew to have time to grow closer as well... And before all of that, we'll be needing to take Charlotte back home to Darkheim soon since we need to make a stop there."
