Chapter 484. Future Alliance Meetings?

" So, in all, Charlotte is going to try to take one step forward in Darkheim... Are you sure it's fine to let her go without any help?"

" No worries, we have 3 allies in Darkheim that will more than happily help Charlotte with getting closer to John. Though one of them isn't in the capital city of Underdark where the Royal Palace is."

" Who are the allies?"

" Queen Crystal, 1st Princess Melissa Nyx and Lady Kate Fall, who's the Fiancé of 2nd Prince Delcan Nyx. Honestly, I'm not sure who's the most excited about the idea of Charlotte marrying John between the 3."

" What does this Kate Fall have to gain from helping Charlotte with her love life, Sarah?"

It was the day after John had left with Charlotte to give Mr. Ryan's jewel to King Leonard and Queen Crystal. My Mother was able to share with me that King Leonard and Queen Crystal decided to keep John for the next 2 days, today for Mr. Ryan's funeral and another day to rest. Before long yesterday, John came back to the mansion and explained the situation to Anna and me. Once we said it was fine, he went back. Since we had a free day, we decided to call an Alliance meeting since most of the members were here, the only missing person was Charlotte who was currently trying to complete her own mission. With that, everyone was here. Anna and I, a quite happy Alice since she's finally taken quite a bit step forward in her relationship with John. Cyn, Asha, Sharon, Ruby, Emily and Mary. All of us have met up to talk about Alice's Betrothal as well as what we could expect from Charlotte and John as they return home. Currently, we were discussing Charlotte's plan. Asha was quite suspicious of it, granted, I think this is mostly due to the fact that she was jealous. Not just at Charlotte, but Alice as well. It's almost funny to see someone who's been dreading the idea of finding a Fiancé to help carry the Clearfield name to now being upset at the thought that the object of her infatuation isn't here and is with someone else currently. Now she's even curious about Kate Fall.

" She puts herself in the good graces of Charlotte, the sister of the love of her life. Along with that, she gains the good graces of Queen Crystal and Princess Melissa. I can attest to the fact that she has her eyes set only on Prince Delcan and nothing more, so don't think too hard about her. The only thing that might happen is she might try to befriend John."

" Hm?"

Asha seemed surprised by what I said, to follow up, I quickly explained about how John accepted Prince Delcan's proposal to be friends. Once that was done, Asha seemed to settle down somewhat. That was a good thing, I suppose.

" If that's the end of the questions for Charlotte today, I guess we can move on to Alice, can't we?"

" Actually, I had a few questions as well Big Sis."

Cyn spoke up, I was a bit surprised since I didn't think she would have any questions, but what could she possibly want to know? We all waited for Cyn to speak.

" What exactly will the hierarchy be like after we've all accomplished our goals?"

Cyn brought up a question I've thought somewhat about. I guess now I should be able to bring it up.

" Well, obviously, I'd be positioned as the Top Wife. Like I've said before, I'm fine with you all marrying John as long as you all respect the fact that I am the Top Wife. As for the hierarchy past that, well, it'll most likely be up to John in all honesty. Just from him so far, we already know that Anna will most likely be just below me. The rest of you will need to fight for your spot in his eyes as John doesn't really care for Formal Noble Titles. Granted, I don't really think it'll matter that much, if he chooses to marry you all, it'll mean that you all are loved deeply by him like Anna and I. As for us... Well, I don't really care too much about our Titles, do you? Aren't we all friends?"
