" Woah!"

/ Crack! Bang! Bang! Bang!/

" Jaime!"

* Grip!*

" Tha... Thanks Laura..."

I was able to grab Jaime from falling as we were walking along a treacherous pass in the mountain range. Despite everyone's sane protest, for some reason, the fool decided it would be a good idea to act like a petulant child and just head off to where the Dragon had flown. Old Man Ben was picked to keep watch over the horses and then Jessie urged us to follow him. If it wasn't for the fact that Lucy took off behind Jessie, I don't think I'd even want to follow this idiot.

" Jaime, are you okay?"

Ashley called out to Jaime. She grabbed Jaime's other arm since Jaime was between Ashley and I. currently, the path we were on was so close to the mountain that we need to hug the wall to make it through. Of course, the fool and Jessie had made it through already and Lucy was nearly through as well. We were only a few steps behind her for now. She had looked back to check on us, but I could see that change in her balance nearly made her fall, so she quickly changed back and continued walking ahead. Again, this " idea" seems more like a suicide attempt than any kind of solid plan. Besides, it looks like the fool is only really interested in the glory we'd receive from killing the thing, but is it really worth trying when the risk is so high? We need to continue training, taking on Quests as Adventurers and gaining experience by fighting Demons. That's what's going to lead us back home, not this... This is just pure idiocy... And here we are, being dragged down because we can't abandon " The Hero" that Promethia cares so much about... It's ridiculous.

" I'm okay, Ash... Let's just get through this... I'm pretty sure the Dragon is close now..."

With Jaime's insistence, the 3 of us quickly made up the time that Jaime cost us. Before long, we had made it over to the clearing on the opposite side of the path we had to take.

" Jaime, are you okay?"

Lucy quickly ran to us as we made it past the wall...

" I'm okay, Lucy."

" Why did you run after them, we could've stayed behind."

I quickly questioned Lucy about why she ran after the fool. She seemed surprised for a brief moment, but eventually, she answered my question.

" I know how you feel, Laura. I feel it as well, but at the end of the day, he is my brother. When we make it back home, I'd rather not have to explain to my Parents that I left him to die to a Dragon. I wanted to drag him back, but he's obstinate about continuing on. Especially now."

" I see... I can't hate you for that... Even if he is annoying... However, we need to figure out what we can do, I mean-"

/ Woosh! Suuu... Woosh!/

I was about to explain how crazy it is to try taking on the Dragon in our current situation... But a weird sound distracted me, I looked in the direction that it was coming from and I was shocked to see what it was.

" Dust?"

Ashley said the word... It was dust. Rhythmically being sucked into what I could only guess is a giant hole at the top of a mountain to the North of our position. Once the dust had been sucked in, the dust was then blown out, like the mountain was an active and exploding volcano. I quickly looked back at Lucy and asked her a question.

" You said " Especially now", what did you mean by that?"

" It's exactly what you think, Jessie confirmed that the Dragon is in that mountain, apparently it's napping."
