" Err..."
He seemed to growl and exhale at the same time, Morgan seemed to be getting more and more aggressive the longer the fight goes on. It looks like his fatigue is making him angrier, the only issue is, even with his anger growing, his swordsmanship is better than mine, to the point where I'm sure if this was a simple sword duel, he's beat me... But on the flip side, it looks like I'm better at the magical aspect of this fight. His offensive spells are slow, to the point where if he's at around 3 steps away from me, I don't even feel that the attack is a hassle to dodge. That should say something considering he's slightly faster than I am. His attempts at attacking me in tandem with his spells... It makes me wonder if he's ever trained to use magic and swordplay at the same time. It's because of that seeming discomfort at using them both that I've been able to more or less have the upper hand. Still, I can't land a decisive blow. Like I said, that slight difference in speed is a pain in the ass.
" Haa.... Haa..."
" Don't get tired yet. I'm just getting started, Morgan!"
/ Clang! Clang! Clang!/
This time, I began the next clash of our swords, I want to make him even more tired, having him have to fight at my rhythm and not his own will help that. It's just a shame he's so well-trained... If I was as tired as he appears.... Well, I'd definitely be thinking of a different strategy.

" !"
I added a little extra strength to my last sword strike and it made him recoil strongly, I even heard how hard he had to stomp his foot to keep his balance. Yet he still blocked... Honestly, I'm getting sick at how much better at swordsmanship he is.
" Haa..."
He breathed in, like he's decided what to do next.... His next movement showed what he was thinking...
/ Clang! Clang! Clang!/
And he decided to do what he does best, attack with the sword... Honestly... I've had about enough of this. And I think I'm not going to be able to beat him quickly like this... He's too well-trained and experienced with his swordsmanship. It's time to focus on the magical side of my Jobs. And with that, I need to make some distance so I can make a decent plan... I need the distance since I can't form a decent idea with a sharp blade continually trying to cut through my neck at various angles. To get that space, I quickly brought up my right hand to make space between us.
" Not this again!"
/ Thump!/
And just like I thought, he jumped back for me. Shame that wasn't the actual activation of a spell. I quickly aimed my palm at the ground now and said the words.
" Holy Bolt!"
/ Boom!/
" What!?"
/ Rumble! Crack!/
" Okay... Safe for now..."
" What do you mean " safe"? Hiding in the ground while a battle is happening overhead isn't exactly " safe", now is it?"
" Right, Lily... It's not... I just meant that I could plan is all."
" You thought enough to make a smokescreen and hide underground, but not what to do past that?"
" No. There's a few options I can do... But I need to think about what's going to happen in the future too..."
" Queen Lily, maybe we should give him a chance? The lad hasn't done that badly, all things considered."
