" Wow."

" Yes, the sight does always impress people the first few times they return to the Border. Sometimes, when the Higher Ups stay inside the stronghold for too long before going out, they usually have a moment where they look at the Border in awe just like the recruits and civilians."

Lieutenant George pointed out that my reaction was actually quite normal, the giant wall that formed the Border was gigantic to use a word. It was like looking at skyscrapers all side by side. The reason I say skyscrapers was because the giant wall that made up the Border had windows all lined up and down the wall. Along with slots for the Archers to use their bows for defense. Right behind the walls was the gigantic stronghold that acted as the barracks and headquarters for the Border Guard. Of course it's not the only building behind the wall. The wall stretches all the way around Diablos, apparently to properly man each side, you need 10,000 soldiers. And with the distance, it only makes sense that there's smaller barracks for others to stay at. Though to be honest, it's not my problem at the moment. I just need to pass through one of the 7 tunnels placed at the bottom of the walls of the Border, and they lead into the 7 strongholds that the troops spend their time in. Lieutenant George eventually made his way back to the troops and began to issue instructions to the troops, with that, I was left to look at the walls of the Border as we inched closer and closer back to Diablos.

" See, My Love? We told you everything would be fine."

" It looks like it, I guess I worried a bunch over nothing."

Sarah couldn't help but bring her horse right up to my left side and happily began to speak to me. She was right of course, so far nothing's happened and it looks like it'll be a smooth process. the last man should enter the Border right before dinner time. Right now the sun was high in the middle of the sky, that tells me that it's the afternoon, so I think I'm right on the money when it comes to the time estimates. Along with that, the road to getting here was quick and painless, sure, the stares and glares haven't lessened, but their alive. Either way, we were all heading back to the Western Border, alive. And that was the most important thing at the end of the day.

" Along with that, I haven't seen anyone following us. I do believe we're in the clear, Darling."

Anna quickly appeared on my right side to bolster Sarah's good mood. Well, I shouldn't just say Sarah's good mood, judging by the small smile forming on Anna's lips, I think it's safe to say both of My Wives were quite happy to prove that I was a worrywart. But when a Wife is correct, she's correct, no reason to argue with it.

" I really did obsess over nothing, didn't I? Well, at least now we're back. Together as well."

" That's definitely the most important thing. Though my only real question now is what's next?"

Sarah looked at the walls of the Border as she spoke. Really that is a good question. I have no idea what Dukes  Vitellius Turner, Otho Faulin, Galba Darksign and their followers will try to do next, but really, anything they do is going to backfire, because I'll make it into something that helps me. Just like I did here, I gained information and beat back the Elves with a small force, just like everyone's told me as I was dwelling on what I lost. I mean sure, would've it been nice to have a full on win with no casualties? Sure. But even still, this a great win and I can learn from it.

" Sarah, there's no need to focus on that for now, this exercise showed that we should all be fine, I mean, did you even have an issue with that Swordmaster opponent?"

" Not really, I actually over estimated him,  I used a Skill that I didn't have to. Though there's a great silver lining from using it. Speaking of which, you just reminded me of something, Anna."
