" What, did you think that I would get hurt?"

The dust had settled and Lucy was standing on the Dragon that was forced to lay on it's stomach from the pressure and weight of Lucy's attack. She was smiling as she pulled her daggers out of the back of the Dragon. Finally, someone was able to damage the Dragon for real.

/ Swoosh!/

With a proud smile on her face that would definitely cause unsuspecting women to start a fan club for her, Lucy disappeared from the Dragon's back and appeared right in front of the fool and I.

" Looks like my training's been the most productive!"

And now she's starting to gloat. Maybe it's deserved, but I don't think now is the best time... I mean, the Dragon is... Not moving?

" Lucy, what does your Skill do exactly?"

" Hm? Oh, Splattering Strike? It's a one hit kill move from my Assassin Of Colors Job! It's supposed to kill a target in one hit. From what the Skill Description said, it's supposed to be a stealthy option aside from the fact that where ever I cut on the target's body begins to bleed like a fountain. "

Lucy's smile as she answered my question was nearly blinding. I wonder how Jaime would feel if she were to see this so close up? Listening to her explain her Skill however, made me feel a feeling of discomfort... The reason why was clear to see...

" Say... Lucy... If your skill is supposed to make people bleed out after the hit... How come the Dragon isn't bleeding?"

The fool beat me to it.... Lucy turned around and gave the Dragon's back a once over as she looked any kind of blood flowing from anywhere...

" Maybe it's because I haven't mastered the Skill yet? I mean, I did pierce the Dragon's scales, so that means I must've hit him? Maybe its healing factor stopped the blood?"

" Wouldn't either of those answers mean tha-"

" ROOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Just as I was about to say that I the Dragon might still be alive, it opened it's eyes so we could see it's blood red colored eyes, I could also see that unlike the last time I could look it in the eyes, the Dragon was angry, very angry... I think its because this time, the Dragon has actually taken on serious damage. Lucy's daggers went fully into the Dragon's back from her Skill. The only thing that I could think about right now is if we could survive the Dragon's wrath now?

" Laura! Lucy! Get  behind me!"

The fool tried to play his part as a Hero and tried jumping in front of Lucy and I, however, I wasn't too sure how helpful that would be at the moment. The Dragon is right next to us and is seemingly looking for an opening to attack instead of raging and simply slashing with it's claws, that tells me that the Dragon hasn't been fighting us seriously since Lucy and I woke it up with our sneak attack. What is is looking for?

" Luke, we need to work together to hit it. Jessie is already running around it to try something. We have it's attention because I damaged it, we need to distract it to let Jessie try to strike it this time."

" Fine, but be careful, this thing is pissed now!"

The siblings spoke in front of me as I tried to pay attention to the Dragon. It was making strange movements, like a dog or cat that wasn't sure about where to put it's front paw.

/ CLICK! SNAP! SLASH! CLANG!/

" WOAH!"

The Dragon seemed to grind it's sharp black claws on it's front right leg and seemingly snapped 2 of it's claws together like a Human would snap their fingers. A strange pressure started to approach us, the fool quickly put up his  sword and then the pressure collided with his sword... It must be like a Flying Slash Skill that Swordsman Classes can use. But why would the Dragon choose to use this now?
