Queen Andrea called out to Prince Adam while he was lifting himself off of the ground. He was stuggling, whatever I hit him with, it obviously knocked the wind out of him. I decided to use the moment that I gained from it to look at the 2 Skills I just unlocked, I mean, what the hell is going on exactly? It's been a dry spell in terms of abilities ever since Zana, but now I'm unlocking things left and right? I mean, it's nice to finally have these abilities, but I need to know what they are first of all. I quickly mouthed the words and took a look at the messages the System left for me. The most recent unlocked Skill was the first I saw.

Okay... But that still doesn't answer everything... Oh crap! He's almost back to his feet! I quickly exited out of the message and looked at the next one.

" I... I'm fine, Mom.... I mean, Mother... I was just surprised by that attack is all... I didn't think he'd have an attack like my Flicker Shot..."
I quickly exited out of my Status since it sounded like he was ready to continue the fight. Taking a look at him... I'm actually not too sure if he does or not, he's involuntarily shaking from the hit that I just landed on him. Wait... Now that I think about it, it's called Flying Slash, but it only hit him more like a blunt object? Is it cause my sword is dulled? No... I shouldn't be thinking about this right now, I need to finish this fight first.
/ Thump!/
I began running towards him by kicking the ground as hard as I could. It was obvious he wasn't prepared for it, since he began to scramble as he attempted to put himself into that stance where he can flick those attacks at me. I guess he's not good enough to just use it without bracing himself first. Knowing that, I'm not letting him get into position. I quickly put my arm in position, with my hand right next to my cheek, just like I did the first time I used Flying Slash. I tense my arm, and I can feel it... The sensation, I can do it!
" Flying Slash!"
/ Swoosh!/
Hm? Something seemed off when I used Flying Slash?
" AH!"
/ THUMP! Boom! Rumble!/
Prince Adam got out the way of the attack... But I think it was more due to me than him... The attack was slower? Why did it move so slowly compared to the first time I used it? Did I do something wrong? I looked at my sword and arm... Nothing seemed wrong? Ah... The last time I did it, my body did it on it's own, my instincts, or my Job, which ever one it was, it did everything perfectly to make the attack work... This time, I did the best I could, but it's still a new Skill... I need to practice it in order to use it right... If not, I get a half-assed attack that gets easily dodged.
" Hah! You think something like that could get me!? You're far too slow!"
" Say that when you're back on your feet, Prince Adam."
Prince Adam tried to sound tough, but it took all he could to jump out of the way and dodge the attack, if it was at full power like last time, I'm pretty sure it would've caught him.
