He looks so strange... Like a burnt body, but his skin has darkened, his eyes... If they're still there have become bright orange in color. There's cracks all over his skin I could see from the skin that was uncovered that there were splits or cracks like deep trenches in his skin, inside the cracks looked like bright orange magma running around his body... I thought he was dead... But he's moving still... His eyes are blinking and he's inspecting his body, whatever happened, he's just as surprised as I am it seems. He moved his hands all around like he can't believe he can move them.
/ Rumble!/
Just as I was beginning to think about what to do next, his mana began to pour out of him, it shook the ground lightly and eventually, something formed out of his body. It was small, like baseball, but I could feel the powerful mana escaping from it. The mana was red... Is that because of the Fire Sphere that fell on him? Was his idea to use the heat to cauterize the wound I gave him? I guess it worked, since I don't see blood dripping from him. What the hell is going on?
/ Boom!/
His mana began to explode as the small red ball began to grow somewhat larger, it grew to around the size of a small car as it floated behind him like a concerned parent.
/ Woosh!/
" !"
I was alerted by the action of the ball of fire, I thought that maybe it wanted to attack me, but instead, it formed a tube? String? It quickly attached itself to Lee, into his back.
/ Woosh! Thoom!/
Noises began to escape from the ball and Lee's body as well. I can't tell what's happening, but it feels almost like... The mana is being... Rejected?
/ RUMBLE!/
" AHHHHHH!"
/ CRACK! SWOOSH! Boom!/
Lee began to scream as the fire ball began to become more and more unstable. Panic seemed to consume him, or at least that's the feeling I can gleam from his mana as well as the part of his Soul Power that I could see wafting out of his body. I don't know why I feel like it, but I think I'm right... Maybe a High Paladin can sense these things? Either way, this isn't good, he doesn't seem to be in control in of his abilities, I think he might even blow up. I put my hands up towards him as his mana seemed to reach a fever pitch of ferocity.
" BARRIER! TRIPLE UP!"
/ THOOM! CRACK! CRACK! SHATTER! SHATTER!/
I was right to do what I did, I felt all but one of my Barriers shattered from the blast. But it worked, that explosion would've done even more damage than the impact of the Fire Sphere dropping on this battlefield. The area inside of my Barrier was smokey to say the least, I guess that's what happens when you explode... I opened the Barrier, I couldn't feel any mana in it after all. The smoke eventually cleared and I could see Lee laying face down on the floor. I quickly ran over to him to see if he was alive. When I arrived, it was strange, he was... Back to normal? He wasn't okay though, he was covered in ash, like he ran into a campfire.
" Haahh..."
He exhaled, he's alive... I jumped back incase he explodes again.
" !"
/ Thump!/
" AH!"
He's awake now. He quickly picked himself up and got on his knees and began to look around. Until his eyes landed on me.
" You! What did you do to me!?"
" What did I do? I stopped you from killing everyone! That includes all of the Elves around here as well!"
