" So, anyways, I'm sure you're wondering who I am, right?"

" Is John okay?"

" Exactly! I'm... Oh... Uhmm... Okay, I guess that's not the most important question for you both?"

I quickly asked the most important question to me. This red jewel may have come from John, but there's no guarantee that he's okay right now. I don't know why he's asking about who he is. He said his full name, it's obvious that he's related to Princess Charlotte. Judging from Sarah, Anna, Charlotte and Cynthia's reactions, it looks like they already know about him... But still, I need to know that he's okay. Asha also looks somewhat guarded. I wouldn't be surprised if she was preparing a spell just in case.

" Wow. He really did win both of your hearts, didn't he? Don't worry, Ms. Clearfield, Ms. Ashblade. He's perfectly fine. I've just adjusted all of your ability to experience time."

" Experience time?"

" Yes, it's kind of like having fun. You ever notice that time seems to fly when you're enjoying yourself? Like when you're able to meet up and spend time with your friends? It's like that. As for John, he'll experience no discomfort or anything. I doubt he'll even notice the next 5 minutes or so being gone."

" 5 minutes of what?"

The red jewel seemed to like Asha's question. It began to almost bounce around in the air to the question.

" Just 5 minutes of explaining that John does think of you 2 as women."

" What?"

" How do you even know that?"

" See. I told you both you'd be wondering who I am?"

" Oh, come on Uncle Ryan, just explain it to them."

Princess Charlotte spoke up as the gem almost seemed to want to tease us for wondering about John.

" Alright, alright... Like I said, my name is Ryan. I'm a... I was a Mind Mage. What I actually am right now is just a copy of Ryan Nyx's memories and personality when John met him."

" What?"

" So... Ryan Nyx is dead?"

" Yes. Though I do live on to complete his last wish. Well... 2 last wishes."

" Last wishes?"

" Yes, at first, I simply wanted to share the information I had gained before I was captured and tortured by Alfheim. But a new wish came to me as I was speaking to John. Well... It also helped that he trusted me enough to let me read his mind. That's how I've discovered various things about him."

" Wait... This is invasive isn't it!? Why would you just go willy nilly and reveal his inner most thought!?"

I feel like I had to speak up. It's one thing to want to help him... But to tell us everything like he's reading from John's personal journal is something I couldn't stand for. It's not right! The gem paused in the air like it was considering what I was saying. But I get the feeling that he wasn't reflecting on his actions, it was like he was simply trying to find a different way to explain why he was correct in his actions.

" Well. It's because I want him to be happy. Would both of you make him sad if you were to marry him?"

" M..Mm... Marry?"

" No, I wouldn't... But I'm just a warrior... I don't really know anything about being a bride at this point..."

Asha seemed shocked at the marriage part... But my main concern would be if I could even be a good wife in the first place. I mean, Asha's been trained from a young age to be an exemplary Noblewoman, that includes all the necessary bridal training one could expect from a High-Noblewoman. From wisdom, grace, duty, class and even how to do household chores and childrearing. I'm sure there's even more things that she learned that I'm not even remembering, but on the other hand... Mom always wanted to teach me those things, but I never saw myself being with a man before... Even now, I don't know if what I feel is romantic love for John... I just don't want him to get hurt or fall for a bad woman that would affect his marriage to Sarah and Anna. I mean, sure I was lonely with Sarah, Anna and John being away in Paradise... but who wouldn't be lonely with their friends going so far away, they're as far East as one could possibly go in Diablos, meanwhile our Barony sits on the Western side of Diablos. In terms of distance, even Blackstone is closer than us... It really makes me sad just thinking about it.
