Alice's voice came back into focus after I heard that loud ding, almost like a phone's alarm going off right next to my ears.
" It was the best place to attack! If he can't dodge that here and now, what happens when he's on the field of battle, Alle!? And besides, he was able to block... Even if it was a weird way of doing it..."
" That's not the point and you know it! That's dangerous! What happens if he decides to attack you in a place like the eyes!? Would you be so calm about it then!?"
" What are you trying to imply, Alice?"
Queen Andrea's voice cut through the two half-siblings argument like a mother putting her foot down between her children. It sounded like an actual argument between family members... It would be more normal if it wasn't about almost blinding me, but I can't stop that from being the subject. It looks like it's Queen Andrea and Prince Adam against all of my friends and My Wives with Warrick, Aqua, Alan and Aria sitting on the sides as neutral observers for now... No... Never mind, Aqua and Queen Aria are currently giggling and whispering to each other... And I may or may not see King Alan trying to goad Warrick into making a bet with him. I could only sigh as I began to hear Queen Andrea's voice start to fill the room we were in. Fitting for a Queen who needs to be heard during her public speaking.
" Alle, this is a sparring match and it's important to remember that you'll encounter tough situations outside of this room..."
I drown Queen Andrea's voice out as I have something more important to do.

I whisper the spell, and I see the announcements that explained a few things for me... Well, it explained some things, but made me have other questions that I can see is already giving me a headache. The top of the list of the announcements was the newest addition to my Skill list... And it made me wonder what the hell is going on with my Skills exactly?

I wanted to click on the Skill and see what the description says, but I'm a bit of a time crunch and I can tell Queen Andrea is finishing up. Because of that, I quickly pressed on the other Skill. This one seemed a bit easier to tell what it was and what it did.

My dynamic vision being enhanced explains why I could see Prince Adam's movements even till now, said movements actually increasing in their speed as the fight goes on leaves me with a few different questions about the ability I've unlocked, but I can't just sit and find out the answers.

Queen Andrea and Prince Adam seemed to have won the argument for now, mostly, because the girls are holding their tongues. It looks like even in their anger, they're still trying to respect the fact that Queen Andrea is... Well... A Queen. It's fine though, I mean, they said it themselves, this is an exercise that involves things that can happen on a battlefield. And on a battlefield, it doesn't matter if I'm a Marquess... Or if my opponent is a Prince.
