And that's the last of them... 16 in all... Was that more or less than when I started? I kind of lost count... Either way, the Demons are beginning to push the Elves back now. But with the hell I've been raising has made the Elves try to avoid me as best as they could. Makes sense, doesn't give you a better chance to survive if you run from one enemy to another behind you that's turning your allies into corpses. They've been avoiding me like I'm sick or something. That helps, it just means that I have a clear path forward. I decided to make haste and started to run. My original position when the fight began was at the Northeastern side of the Elves. Squad 11's position was at the Southwestern position of the Elves. So, I've basically started running to them from the farthest position possible for this battle. Still, just complaining about it won't do anything for me.

I started running as fast as I could. The Elves were all putting their efforts into dealing with the Demons that just sprouted see through wings. Because of that, they didn't focus too much on me, the only one to make it through their frontlines. I would've thought that more of the Elves would've come after me, but for whatever reason, they've decided to ignore me, aside from the 16 I just cut down. It's made the run seem... Almost fun? I was more or less just running on a straight path on mostly flat ground. There were some deep holes, I suppose it's evidence that battles have happened here before this one, but to me, they just served as obstacles to jump over.

Just as I was beginning to get into the groove of my sprinting, I was stopped dead in my tracks. I felt a strong mana emanating from the Southwestern edge of the Elves... It didn't take a lot of guess work to understand who it was... Fairsword... he's fighting someone... I don't know who, but if I had to wager a guess, it'd probably be a few of the members of Squad 11. I quickly began to make my way to their position. I don't know how much Angel's War Hymn has buffed everyone's abilities, but that doesn't mean it's done enough to handle one of the 10 Great Elves. If the attitudes of Lee and the others that Sarah and Anna had beaten, I don't like the idea of leaving whoever is fighting Fairsword alone against him. With a renewed sense to my goal, I began to run even faster as I tried to make it there before anything too bad could happen... At least I'm hoping that's the case.

As I began to run again, I heard someone running up to me, I looked but all I could see was the flash of a sword, I quickly brought Scarlet up to defend against the attack. The opponent's sword was heavy... Who the hell is this?
" Finally... I found you!"
" Oh! That voice... Morgan?"
I voiced my immediate thoughts as I heard the person's voice and saw his face. It was Morgan, one of the two Elves I fought a few days ago. But he wasn't the one I beat, that was Edmon and Lieutenant Bobby, who was currently M.I.A as far as I knew... Really, I knew what it probably meant... But still... A shame, Lieutenant Bobby wasn't weak... He was good at his job, if not a bit of a stubborn mule as well... Either way, I don't think anyone is coming to help me with this battle this time. It'll just be me and him... Though I wonder if this time, Lee will end up coming to save Morgan when I have him beaten?
" Yes, Morgan! And I'm ending this! Here and now!"
" Ending what? This war? From beating me?"
" No! You halfwit! This battle! Cut the head from the snake and the snake dies!"
