Chapter 446. Sarah's Explanation

" Well, first and foremost, Aunt Andrea, Adam, are you both willing to listen to the truth of this matter?"

Before Sarah began to speak, she asked Queen Andrea and Prince Adam a simple question, if they're willing to listen, that's fine, but if not, why even bother beginning to explain how wrong they are? Sarah simply waited with the patience of a saint as Queen Andrea and Prince Adam thought about their answers. Eventually, Prince Adam was the first to answer.

" I trust Aunt Aqua and you, Big Sis... But if he did hurt you... I won't stay quiet."

Prince Adam gave his answer, now everyone simply looked to Queen Andrea for her answer.

" I'll listen to your words, but whether he actually harms you or not is separate from the fact that he was going to harm the 2 Prince of Bestia."

Sarah leaned back into her chair and thought about what this selfish queen had said. She seems to conveniently forget the fact that her son wouldn't have been put in that position to start with if she had simply not said anything and continued on her way to her destination... Which I would assume would be the Royal Living Quarters here in the Royal Palace.

" Very well..."

Sarah responded to the Queen's words as well as Prince Adam. She took a deep breath before she finally began to answer the question.

" For abuse, yes there is abuse in our home."

" See! I thought so!"

/ Rumble!/

" Quiet down now, Adam, I'm not done speaking."

Prince Adam misunderstood where Sarah was going with her answer. She released a burst of her mana due to her anger, that caused Prince Adam to settle down.

" Could you stop scaring my son, Sarah? He's just worried about you."

" If he would listen to me instead of jumping at any chance to shout down that Our Husband is some kind of monster, maybe I would? Until that day, Adam, stop angering me and listen to my words."

Sarah began to show the aura of an older sister towards Prince Adam, I wonder why that's the case though, since Prince Adam looks as if he's around 3 or 4 years older than we are? Maybe she bullied him back when they were younger? 

" Continuing on, there is abuse in our house, but it's all directed at Our Husband."

" What!?"

" Sarah, I understand that you might feel some jealousy here and there, but abusing your husband is something your uncle isn't okay with..."

Both Prince Adam and Queen Andrea shouted with a disbelieving tone to Sarah's words. King Alan didn't seem to understand what Sarah had meant by " abuse", but pretty much everyone else did. Surprisingly even Queen Aria seemed to have an inkling as to what Sarah was referring to. Sarah simply gave a side eye to King Alan before continuing her point.

" Let's see where it began... I suppose it would be on our way to the Northern Border?"

" The Northern Border? Are you referring to when you fought off the Hero Party?"

" Yes, Our Husband was poisoned on the trip to the Border."

" P... Poisoned? Then how is he still here?"

" His specific abilities were able to heal him. Instead of letting this be known, he instead tried to keep it a secret from us all, but with Anna's eyes, it wasn't hard to see what happened. However, Our Husband decided to let it go."

" Let go... An attempt on his life?"

" Yes, just like how he let go an annoying outsider attempting to slander him and bring his character into question during our wedding reception. In fact, he stopped me from killing them as I should've by right. Yet he was happy enough with requesting them to leave the reception and informing them if they truly had an issue with our marriage, they could petition my Parents about it."
