" Ah... Uhm..."

" Yup! Doesn't it look great!?"

Alice's blood red eyes almost looked to be glowing as they looked at all 7 of us dressed in the clothes that she picked out. The girls were all in fitting colors, Sarah had a dark purple thick coat that fit her extremely well. Sarah was likewise the same in a dark green coat, Charlotte had a tan coat, Cynthia had a light blue coat, Asha a bright yellow and Sharon a black coat... And then there was me...

" Wh... Why is it pink?"

I asked the question at the forefront of my mind. I mean... It's pink! My coat is pink!? Why? I mean, why? Usually, isn't pink mostly for the women's clothes and coats? Alice seemed to realize what it was I was thinking.

" I'm sorry, Matthew... Wait, I can call you John now, can't I? Anyways... It turns out that the only size that could fit you were for the teenage girls here in Diablos."

" What!?"

I looked around for a second... That makes no sense, Paul was around my size back while we were training. I remember it clearly!

" But I've trained with Demons that were my size before! How could there not be any men's clothing?"

" I'm sure you did train with someone your size, but I'm sure they didn't buy all of their clothes from Blackstone. Unfortunately, this is all that they had, I checked 10 stores, and they were all sold out."

" But... There must've been a more manly color, right? Don't the Beastmen have a whole strength thing going on in Bestia?"

" Yes! That's why I chose pink! It's the color of my Mother's house!"

" Wouldn't it be an affront to Queen Aria's house then if I were to wear their colors?"

" If you were arriving alone, maybe? But you're going there with Uncle Warrick and Aunt Aqua to heal my Father. So, they should leave you be."

" Well... I guess that's okay?"

I figured there was nothing I could do. I mean, Alice was defending her choice with the same kind of zeal she had when she was arguing to come with me to Paradise... I guess I should just bear and take it. I mean, I should be thankful she was able to grab me something I could use. At the very least, it means she doesn't want me freezing to death. Just as I was about to move on from the coat to asking about the gloves and boots, Alice chimed in with a happy tone in her voice.

" And besides, in case all of that fails, I also bought the same coat! So, we'll be matching!

" WHAT!?"

Before I could even react to Alice's statement, all of the girls yelled in unison... Expect for Sarah and Anna? Well... It's not like it matters too much, the mood in the room had changed. All of the girls were quite happy to try on their new clothes, but now... It's like a fight is about to break out.

" Alle... I see, perhaps we've grown too comfortable in this alliance."

Cynthia mumbled something while tightly gripping her fists.

" Matching clothes while visiting your home country... How have I not thought of doing something like that?"

Charlotte mumbled something as well, she was biting down on a blue handkerchief that seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

" Alle... Maybe I've put too much trust into you?"

Asha looked as if she was about to summon a grand magic spell, the feeling of rushing mana made me unable to make out what it was she said.

" I won't allow it..."

Sharon was quite calm, but she seemed to also be whispering to herself?

" It looks like the Catkin side of you is coming out, isn't it, Alle? Maybe I need to clip this cat's claws before they scratch someone they shouldn't?"
