" Hahaha! It's just like our first little skirmish! Have you learned anything!?"
She was gloating as I was being forced backwards. It was fine since I was just getting started. She was attacking with chopping attacks against me. Since I wasn't as familiar with how to use a hatchet, I dodged and parried as best I could. She seemed to be excited at the thought that she was winning our exchanges, but she was in for a rude awakening in time.
/ CLANG! CLANG! CLANK!/
She didn't let up; it looks like we're back to where we were before we met back up with everyone in the forest. Me backing up due to her relentless assault and her thinking she's got me on the ropes. If only I didn't trip before in the forest, maybe she wouldn't have such an inflated ego?
/ CLANK! CLANG!/
With how ferocious she's attacking me, I'm going to say no. Regardless, I need to fight back. Fleet Foot is active, I need to use it, along with another skill of mine.
/ Thump!/
I jumped with Fleet Foot active. I left a footprint inside the ground as I left the ground. I quickly shifted in the air in order to plant my feet on the ceiling. I stayed there for a few seconds. This is due to the other ability I had activated; it's nothing too special, it's literally called " Wall Walk". And just like it sounds, it lets me walk on walls, and also ceilings. Not that it matters too much for now, since I jump off the ceiling and aim my dagger and hatchet at different parts of her body. She was still surprised at the speed of my jump. That still didn't stop her from placing her hatchets at just the right place to block my attack.
/ CLANG!/
" Dammit!"
" I told you! You're not good enough!"
/ SHING!/
She forced my weapons out of the way! She's going to land an attack on me! I can't stop it!
/ Thump!/
* SLASH!*
" AH!"
" Clever!"
/ Bang!/
I kicked off of her arm, it wasn't much, but I made it to where she was only able to cut my cheek as I pulled away. If I didn't it would've been my head spilt in 2! The momentum of my jump made me crash into the wall behind us. I'm okay, but I need to move! She's smiling and coming at me with all 3 of her hatchets!
" Don't be too scared! I'll make it painless!"
/ Shing! CLANK! CLANG!/
" I'd rather I make it painless for you!"
" We both know that's not going to happen, Human! Just die gracefully!"
" I'll take the undignified route, Demon!"
/ CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!/
We keep matching each other! I need to move!
/ THump!/
I jump with a bit more strength than before, I can get away for a second, but she's back striking at me!
/ CLANG! CLANG!/
" Stop running! Just accept it! Your end is coming! But don't worry! I'll make sure your friends join you as well!"
" None of what you want is going to come true!"
" How can you expect to believe that when all you can do is defend and hope to counter!? You make no sense!"
