" Laura, are you okay? You look really pale."
" The dreams again... I'll be okay, I'll just need to drink some tea..."
" Right, it sure would be nice if Gaia had coffee for times like this."
" What good would it do? There's no milk to use."
" You could just drink it with sugar though?"
" Meh... I like milk in my coffee... Haaahhh."
Lucy, despite her annoyed mood when she fell asleep last night, was the first one to see that I looked unwell. From there, Ashley talked about coffee, she's able to drink it black, I never understood how she could handle that, even Jaime looked perplexed as we could see was thinking about her simply order of black coffee. I yawned as I thought about how tired I was, usually, the dreams don't make me feel this tired. I guess the fatigue was just from the hectic few days that we've had? If not then I don't know what else it could be. Maybe it's just mental stress from seeing John every night and being unable to reach him? John... The talk of coffee and tea made me think back to the early mornings I'd wake up and drink some coffee to wake up so I could observe John while he slept for a few minutes before I would wake him up in the morning... His sleeping face... I miss it...
/ Bam!/
" Oh, you guys are already awake! Perfect! Look! I'm all okay!"
And to make matters worse, the fool has made his presence known, it looks like he finally woke up after exhausting himself from the fight with the Dragon. Well, I guess I should be glad somewhat, since this meant that we'd be leaving this town sooner rather than later.
" Luke, you finally woke up!"
Lucy was somewhat happy to see her brother. Who could blame her? He is her only family here in Gaia. I'm sure I'd be just as happy if either My Mom or Dad were here and they were able to recover... Well, maybe a bit more, since I'm still not exactly forgiving of thew fool. How could I not be? So much time wasted because I didn't want to step on toes, and I thought that it would be all okay because at the end of the day, John would be in his room when I returned home from meeting my friends. Or even better, when he would come with me to places. Sure, they would be there, but there would be moments where it could just be us and I'd be able to get him to talk with me... Until the fool would interrupt us. Then the rest would come with suspicious looks in their eyes, like John wasn't mine first. No, it's no use holding onto that, not after everything we've done, how closer we've gotten. But I can't say the same for the one who just sat at the table.
" What do they have for breakfast, I'm starving."
He began to talk to Lucy, the siblings began to speak as Ashley and Jaime were discussing how the toast we were eating tasted sweeter than what was normal, I bit into the toast on my plate as well to see that they were right. It almost tasted like a breakfast cereal. It wasn't bad, not at all.
/ Bam!/
Just as the fool had placed his order for food, the doors opened somewhat aggressively again, this time it was Jessie and Old Man Ben who both looked somewhat annoyed. Maybe they were like me and unable to get a restful sleep?
" Hm? Ah! Good, you're all here. That saves time."
/ Ruumm.../
They both pulled out their chairs and sat down, Jessie immediately began to rub both of his eyes with his left index finger and thumb as if he wanted to scrub the sleepiness out from his eyes. Old Man Ben looked at his student for a moment and then he decided to fill us in on what they found out yesterday.
