" Even with that, a frontal assault would be the best outcome, wouldn't it?"

" Chief Sharp had already informed me about the geography of the terrain, we'll follow his plan of putting our ranged attackers at strategic positions. I understand that you all want to earn your glory in this upcoming battle, but you need to remember why we're here in the first place. To protect Diablos and Her People from Her enemies. That comes first, do I make myself clear, Lieutenants?"

   " Bu-"

" Enough you 3, tonight is the last before the battle, why change the plan we all agreed on before heading out. If you have an issue with the Commander of this operation, you should've taken it up with your Captains before heading out. This is the will of Our Brothers and Sisters, we all signed a petition, just because you're now following him doesn't mean you get to gripe. If you're truly worth your salt as Warriors, you'll find your glory in battle and separate yourselves from the rest, just like Captain Martin was able to do during the first series of battles. Or do you think you're incapable of slaying Diablos's enemies in battle?"

" Of course we can, George! That has nothing to do with it!"

" Oh really, Denise? Cause it sure sounds like it has everything to do with it. Stop making things difficult, we're already here and the enemy's position is in sight, don't be fools and cause more stress on the Commander."

I was surprised to hear Lieutenant George speak up for me as I was currently in the middle of an argument with the other 3 Lieutenants. Currently, we were all in a tent for the Commanding Officers of this operation, it was me, Sarah, Anna, Ruby and the 4 Lieutenants. It was dinnertime and while we were waiting for our food to be served, Lieutenants Bobby, Tala and Denise had begun to ask about a change in the established plan that we would be using for the Elves. I don't really know why they were so argumentative about the plan. It was a mix of what Chief Sharp had mentioned, about having our ranged attackers stationed at different points to attack the Elves as they begin to pour out of the cave. Along with that, I offered some of my own ideas about the attack against the Elves, thankfully, the idea seemed to please not only Chief Sharp, but all 3 of the Captains as well, I think it might be because of the fact that it offers pretty much everyone to be able to gain some kind of glory and experience on the battlefield.

" All we want is to be a part of the middle section, instead only Bobby and Lieutenant George are. Why is that?"

" That's because I decided that your expertise, along with Lieutenant Denise were needed elsewhere, Lieutenant Tala. I can understand you being somewhat pensive being under my command since I've not proven myself to anyone at the Western Border. However, that's why I've placed both you and Lieutenant Denise in the positions that you're in."

" You say that, but you also placed your personnel alongside us, didn't you?"

" Trust goes both ways, Lieutenant Tala."

" Ah..."

It looks as if Lieutenant Tala was expecting some kind of different answer from me... No, scratch that, all 3 of them were expecting something different. Lieutenant George on the other hand simply had his right hand on his forehead and had begun to shake his head at his fellow Lieutenants. Sarah, Anna and Ruby were simply watching the show. The reason being that they've tried to impose my authority as my aides, but they've been ignored simply because they don't actually have an Official Military Rank at the moment. They're simply here because I made it part of my agreement to take to the frontlines of this stalemate. Warrick okayed it, which was all that really mattered since the Duke and his cronies wanted me to go here anyways, so they couldn't really dictate who I brought with me since they demanded I bring soldiers from my own territory. The only issue again, is that I'm the only one here from Paradise with an actual Rank in the Military Chain Of Command as a Vice-Chief Of Logisitics. In theory, the only one who outranks me at the Western Border is Chief Sharp, but that doesn't really matter here and now. With a nod from Sarah and Anna, I decided to just be a bit blunt with the 3 Lieutenants that have been a giant pain in my ass these last few days.
