With Del running out of the room with John and Kate like he was carrying stuffed animals like a child, the doors finally closed tightly after opening. This was a good thing... I don't think I could calm down after hearing what John just said... I could feel my face morphing into a smile... He feels the same way... I mean, it's not romantically... But still, it's just nice to hear him say those words... It almost felt like I was floating in the air from happiness...

" Baby... I need you to come back to Gaia, we need to have a chat."

" Hm!?"

I heard My Mom's voice... It brought me out of that nice feeling I had.

" Sorry, am I interrupting something? Because we need to talk about a few things. Come here, Baby."

My Mom called out to me... Now that I think about it, Mom and Dad said they wanted to talk to me about something... I wonder what it could be about? I walked up the steps until I was in front of them. I was confused by what it was that they wanted to speak about, I mean, they didn't mention needing to tell me anything? Once I was settled in front of them, My Dad to speak.

" Charlotte."

My Dad had a serious look on his face as he began to speak.

" Pahh! Sorry, it looks like we won't be able to do what Alan and Aria did!"

My Dad let the demeanor of a King disappear and now he was acting as he usually does when he's just with us, his family. He slapped his knee in disappointment as he continued to speak. I was confused by what he said though...

" Dad, Mom... Didn't you say that you weren't going to do that anyways?"

" Well, we had to!"

My Mom exploded as she answered my question... I thought it was strange.

" You don't get it, do you? Oh, maybe we haven't explained this to you well... Charlotte, how do you plan on marrying him?"

" Marriage?"

I felt my face grow hot again... Why? I thought I got used to this after he came back from Alfheim? Why have I been like this? It makes no sense... It's just that... Every time he talks about me... He cares about me... It's so hard to keep my composure when it comes to him.

" Yes, Baby, marriage. Have you thought about how to do that? I know your little Alliance is all about trying to do that, but all's fair in love and war! And Aria struck fast and hard!"

" Hm? Aria? oh, Queen Aria... Wait!?"

" Yes, baby, they wanted to get Alice attached to John as quickly as possible. Now they did it, but they weren't supposed to do it like this!"

My Mom... She's.... Angry?

" Calm down, Dear. Yelling to the ceiling isn't going to help us in the moment... Especially with the term he wanted in the contract."

Dad started to try to soothe Mom, but I can't tell if he's actually doing a good job or not? Eventually, what my Parent's said started to click in my mind...

" Wait? Were you..."

" Yes, we were going to make a Betrothal between you two. Back when we met up in Paradise, when we were preparing for the Summit. I had a chat with Aqua and Aria. We hatched a plan to more or less force him to accept both you and Alice as Fiancés, but for some reason, Aria rushed the plan... Without even including you!"
