"Don't make a sound."
My breath caught in my throat as Capitano came to a stop.
He turned around, grabbed onto me, and jumped up.
I put a hand over my mouth to stop myself from gasping as he flew up into a tree.
Capitano held me close against him as we looked down below.
It only took a matter of minutes before something began to walk underneath us. Capitano remained absolutely still.
The creature or might I say creatures were from the abyss. There was a few of the mages along with some other smaller monsters.
"That thing you did with the snow..." He whispered, "Do it now..."
I did it without hesitation.
My whole body turned to snow and just as it did one of the mages looked up.
I felt my heart drop as I remembered Capitano was behind me.
Yet for some reason the mage didn't react. It looked around some more before continuing on.
Nobody stopped or noticed us and after a bit they had disappeared.
Capitano let out a sigh of relief but I didn't understand.
He could have definitely taken them out so why had we remained hidden?
"There are no more enemies in sight you can return to normal now." He replied in his normal voice.
"What just happened?" I asked letting the snow surrounding me vanish.
I looked back at Capitano who was still stopping me from falling out of the tree.
"Nothing unusual. We just happened on some of the abyss order creatures." Capitano replied.
"So why are we hiding?" I asked raising an eyebrow, "You're the strongest amongst the Harbingers surely some abyss creatures wouldn't be able to hold against you."
Capitano laughed, "I apologize I should have explained myself better, but for the meantime I'd prefer if word of my arrival did not get out."
"But wouldn't it be better if they knew you were the one after them? They might even give themselves up." I suggested.
Capitano shook his head, "While thats possible its unlikely. If anything they'll make their escape even quicker. We still have some days to go the last thing we want is to be behind even further."
