A flash of ice came striking between the herald and myself. In mere seconds, Capitano stood between us. His sword meeting the heralds own.
The spot we had been standing in was now completely covered in ice. My heart sped up and I summoned some ice of my own.
Icicles went flying at the herald and he jumped away avoiding the ice and creating distance.
Capitano stood in front of me a cold aura radiating from his body.
"Ah this has become more troublesome..."
The herald threw the box up a bit catching it in his hands.
"Is this what you want?" He asked dangling the box in his hand.
Neither of us answered.
My eyes scanned the area trying to think of a good way to approach this. This herald was much stronger than the other abyss creatures and if we weren't careful it might just teleport away.
Ice began to form some more around Capitano's sword.
"Y/N..." Capitano whispered, "I'll distract him. I need you to get the box."
My eyes locked on the box.
The goal right now was returning that box to the Tsaritsa. That was why we had come here in the first place.
Before I could answer him Capitano rushed forward. His sword swirling with ice as he sent a strike for the herald.
The herald lifted his own weapon ready to take the strike. To his surprise Capitano was a lot more powerful.
The strike sent the herald reeling back. There was a brief flash of surprise on his face. Like he hadn't been expecting such power.
I decided to take advantage of the situation. Disappearing into the snow I got out of the way and jumped up into a tree.
The herald was currently too distracted by Capitano to notice I had disappeared. Somehow I needed to grab that box but how...
The herald summoned a stronger looking sword and was more on the defensive side now.
Did the herald not realize who Capitano was? Capitano could probably wipe him off the face of the earth... well teyvat in this case. Sadly we weren't here for that. It seemed Capitano was holding back for the boxes sake. He probably didn't want to cause a huge mess and then lose the box in the process.
