Once Will arrived at the Parker house, he paces back and forth with his mask off, still trying to process what he experienced. "I don't get it .....he was able to avoid most of my attacks and counter them like they didn't exist!" He says with visible frustration, trying to understand what he experienced.

Peter sits in his seat, watching Will pacing and rambling. "Kid, I need you to focus for a moment......what was it that you saw during that fight? Tell me that and I promise you, I will explain my reasons for asking." He assured Will with a calm and collected tone to help his protege.

The curly haired boy inhales deeply through the nose, then slowly exhaled out the mouth. "Okay......okay......well, first of all, the guy made a claim like he was a master of dark magic which....that's a load of crap. Magic doesn't exist so I'm not falling for any of tha-"

"Actually, as much as I don't like saying it......magic is real." Peter interrupted before seeing his protege silently freaking out. "In all my years I've fought trolls, wizards, evil sorcerers, and even a demon who powers up from nightmares. So hearing that this guy uses dark magic doesn't sound too farfetched."

Will sighs, annoyed by that revelation. "Great ...so magic exists.....he said something about wanting revenge on Doctor Strange? But he would be attacking me with......all sorts of things. Weird dark hands floating from the sky, dark fire, multiple dark swords, I don't even know what else...... I'm pretty sure he was just toying with me a large majority of the time and I am a little annoyed." He admitted, calming himself down.

Peter listens to Will's explanation with intense interest, taking in details of what he was saying. "Let me go back to the swords real quick. How many did you see?" He asked him, having almost everything he needs for information.

Will thinks about it, trying to remember. He was in the heat of the battle, he didn't bother counting the swords he randomly summoned. "I dunno......like .... twenty? Thirty? I don't see what that has to do with-"

"Come here and I'll show you." Peter explained as he starts typing on his computer. When Will stands next to him, Peter shows multiple videos files on his computer. "I keep these in my personal records to study your style in case we need to do research. Glad I do so now just in case." He then explained as he shows him one video of him looking up then just.... randomly dodging something that wasn't even there. This confused Will even more now. But then he remembered something....that was the giant fist he dodged.....but it wasn't there...... "I believe you saw it at the moment..but on my end, it's not." He then exits the first video, showing another one of his dodging a sword ....the sword he threw back at Mysterio. But there's only one compared to the multiple Will narrowly dodged when he was fighting.

The curly haired boy was watching the many videos and didn't understand what was going on...at least not entirely. One sword, no fist.....Mysterio getting out of Will's web on the wrist. "Okay so...... could the videos be bugged?" He asked, trying to put the pieces together.

Peter shakes his head, though he doesn't look frustrated. "No, but that isn't a bad theory. I'm guessing he uses a different type of dark magic. It's used to make illusions. Some of it can be real but mostly, for lack of a better term, it's mostly for show. It's a clever way to get any obstacles out of his way......" He explained to the curly haired boy.

Will's eyes widen in realization. "So he's using these to trick and deceive, then sometimes uses actual things to hit me with his dark magic?" He asked in disbelief, to which Peter responds with a nod. This revelation makes Will's hand ball into a fist, shaking with rage. "Great......just great.... How am I supposed to know what's the illusion and what's the fake?!" He asked in frustration.

Peter looks up at Will, showing he has faith in his abilities. "The same way you handle all your problems..using your instincts." He said simply, not giving him any other hints afterward, which definitely annoyed Will. "I never said I fully understood magic. Just that I've dealt with it. But you? You'll know what to do when the time comes." He then tells the curly haired boy, who seemed to loosen up slightly.

"Truth be told, my instincts want me to punch his teeth out one at a time. But......I gotta find a way around his defenses....." The curly haired boy admits as he heads out to go on patrol again. He swings his way out of Queens to go out into the rest of the big apple, hoping to find any traces of the dark magical villain. "My instincts......" He says to himself as he swings, hoping to figure out what Peter meant.

"Just try to be patient kid. You've beaten every other threat with your gut. This shouldn't be a problem for you kid." Peter said through the coms, already trying to do research on who this dark magic wielder is. Not much data was on him ....which upon thinking about it would make sense assuming this guy actually was trained by the Sorcerer Supreme himself. But regardless of that, Peter has faith in his protege's abilities...... after all, he has yet to truly disappoint.

(Editor's note: yeah this is a shorter chapter, but I didn't have much I could do with this. I'm at least working on making this for the audience at least. Anyway, hope you're enjoying so far! :3)
