The next morning, Will was already web swinging earlier in the morning than usual, doing an earlier patrol for a Friday. He didn't have school for another hour and a half.....but he couldn't help himself.....he had to get back into his classic black and red suit over the radiation suit.....his classic suit felt better somehow..... But even then, the curly haired troublemaking boy couldn't help but feel incredible.....his life is turning out pretty great recently. Great job, great family, great friends, hell, even New York was improving immensely. It seemed that the city was.... healing more thanks to Spider-Man, especially financially. With Fisk's Fists being taken down more frequently, and people feeling safer, the corrupt police force funded by Wilson Fisk was forced to use their own money instead of getting it from civilians. "What a beautiful morning......sun rising more prominently, the air is.....well cleaning a little bit for New York standards, and Fisk's forces are dwindling substantially!" Will said to himself, knowing Peter wasn't awake just yet. "It feels even better to be back in my classic suit. Sure, the radiation suit was definitely helpful, but something about this one just feels so much better." He adds on as he swings further into Harlem, knowing he had plenty of time before school started officially. So he cleaned up some criminals off the street, and defeated some of Fisk's Fists before they got too out of hand before going straight into an alleyway and gets back into his civilian clothes.

Once he was fully dressed, Will steps into the busy New York streets, walking to Gwen's apartment complex to pick her up so they could walk together. "You know..... normally I don't get the chance to say this, but life really feels like nothing can ruin today." He said more to himself than anyone in particular. He only waited for a minute before the strawberry blonde jogged out of the building to meet Will.

"Sorry about that! I hope you didn't wait long! I was just running a little late getting ready for school today!" Gwen said with a nervous smile, giggling awkwardly.

The curly haired boy chuckles at her. "No big deal. I got here a minute ago so it wasn't like I waited for an hour." He lightly teased as he walks alongside her. "So.....it's.....been a little over a year since you and I met." He brings up, trying to sound as casual as possible.

The strawberry blonde glanced at the male, and smiles fondly. "You're right.......a year and a day ago, you and I had our first conversation......and..... I'd say became friends....." She admitted shyly. "Not to mention.....one year ago today...... we went to that laboratory your dad worked at....."

Will thinks back on that memory...... Gwen was right.....on this day last year, was when he first got his spider powers....no wonder today seemed so special for him. The day he got his powers.....his life truly did change for the better. "Yeah......and ever since, I feel like.....my life went in a different direction than where I'm going now.....I don't entirely know how to explain it....but it's like......I anticipated my life to go in one specific way.......and yet, here I am.... working for an incredible boss, making my own money, and overall just being able to help when I am needed....."

Gwen listened to the curly haired boy with a soft smile, proud of his achievements so far. "You've done so much since last year, grown so much, and shown that you're a responsible person who keeps his promises. I couldn't be prouder to see it happen." She said with fondness. "Not to mention that you're so courageous..... standing up for people in trouble, and showing no fear for those that cause so much trouble.... especially on campus."

"You think I'm as brave as Spider-Man?" He lightly joked, trying to see how the strawberry blonde would react.

Gwen giggles softly at his joke, slightly holding her backpack tighter. "He's done a lot for this city lately..... dad's been telling me he's never been more happy to do paperwork when he sees Spider-Man stopped a criminal or supervillain. It means the real police are able to do their jobs......" She admitted. "I kinda understand what he means......not only does he save people, but he helps the cops assure a super powerful villain or souped up criminal is taken down......"
