In an alleyway in the Financial District, Mysterio stays hidden away, doing his best to keep in the shadows. "Where the hell is that so-called Sorcerer Supreme?! I thought that by now he would've sensed my precense and attempted to stop me?! But instead he's hiding from me like the weak coward he is, and instead the only person to track me was the stupid Arachnid." He shouts in frustration, wanting nothing more than to get the revenge he desires. But it seemed that he was failing at that. "I'll show that bastard. If he thinks he can hide from me, then I'll just destroy his precious sanctum. Then he'll have to show up in a desperate attempt to defeat me." He then said to himself before using his dark magic to propel himself upward, heading to the rooftop effortlessly. He then sprints from rooftop to rooftop, heading towards the home of which the Sorcerer Supreme resides.
As he reaches another rooftop, he gets clotheslined....or rather weblined in the stomach, and crashes into the ground with his dark magic shielding him from most of the damage. Spider-Man lands gracefully on a light pole. "Looks like the only thing dark and magical about you is that bruise you got." He quipped, folding his arms over his chest with confidence.
Mysterio stands back up, looking more frustrated than previously. "You again? You never seem to learn your lesson. But very well. I suppose I have time to deal with you for a short time." He says as he summons his dark swords again, launching them at the web slinger.
Will sees the swords headed his way and lazily dodged. But his spider sense blares as some of them get closer to him. Sure he was able to dodge, but just barely as one Knicks his arm. While his suit was still in tact, he felt that injury. 'Right....I almost forgot that they aren't all going to be illusions.....' He thinks to himself, trying to formulate a strategy already. He immediately fired three webs from his right web shooter to ensnare him, but he avoided by letting his dark magic help slither him out. This was all part of Will's plan, as he fires impact webbing rapidly. Some of them would his, others would narrowly be blocked. "You're not the only one who can manipulate things." The web head quipped as he continues his assault.
Mysterio performs some hand gestures, and soon, several axes take their place as they launch at the rookie superhero, who was able to dodge them, though with effort. "Perhaps you can.. however, I can do so convincingly." He retorts back as he suddenly vanishes, reappearing behind the web slinger, who barely dodged, only to get hit by him slamming a fist of darkness at Spider-Man.
From Peter's perspective, he was watching as Will was dodging the axes, but there was only one instead of multiple, just like with the swords. "Kid, you gotta stay calm. I can't help you if you don't stay calm......" He tells Will in the coms. "Dodge left." Will complies by rolling away. "Dodge back." Will complies again, kicking Mysterio in the face in the process.
Mysterio stumbles from the attack, gritting his teeth in anger. "Okay ......you're good web head, I'll give you that. But you don't stand a chance against me now." He shouts as he launched a dark blast, sending Will flying and crashing into a car.
Peter sees Will getting hit, but the screen turns to static afterwards. "Will?....Will?!" He shouts while trying to mess with his computer. "Dammit......that guy must've messed with our communication without knowing it with his dark magic......Will!" He tries everything in his power to get communication back with Will, but thanks to the dark magic interference, nothing was working. Will was truly on his own now .....and that worried him.
Back in the fight, Will was standing back up, staring his foe down. "Mr. Parker, now what?" But when he asked, all he could hear was static. "Mr. Parker???" Still nothing but static. "Peter?!" But still nothing. 'Shit .....he somehow interfered with our coms....... without him guiding me I don't know what to do......I'm dead......' He thinks to himself, trying to at least look intimidating. "You renosance reject, why don't you cut the tricks and fight me like a real man?!" He attempted to taunt.
