Later that evening, after a humiliating defeat for the Armadillo-Man, Wilson Fisk became more frustrated than before, slamming his massive fist down on his desk in his hidden lab. "BLAST THAT ACCURSED SPIDER-MAN!" He screams out in pure, uncontrolled rage. "It doesn't matter what I throw at him, he always finds some new way to humiliate me, or make my men look like incompetent fools!" He walks down the halls of his land, frustrated with the situation. "We've spent months developing stronger armor, weapons, and enforcing more elite officers to deal with that wall crawling vermin. We've let super villains deal with him, older and newer ones! We've even enhanced them....and yet this new Spider-Man humiliated them all effortlessly......" He growled out as he passed by a scientist who jogs up to Fisk frantically.
"Sir, we've developed something totally new for Fisk's Fists forces. This armor will be able to withstand 20% of extra hits, which will definitely be a major help when-"
"Your numbers fail me doctor!" Wilson shouts with fury as he knocks back the scientist's clipboard. "It doesn't matter what we do, who we send out, that bug always finds some way to defeat our foes. So tell me...why should I entrust you with this when you've proven such incompetence to me?!"
The scientist swallows hard, doing his best to regain his composure despite the corrupt mayor's rage. "We finished the Super Soldier Serum....the one we've been using to gain more forces......but......we need more test subjects.....and we need time to find one." He explained, having gathered his clipboard and pen to write down the plan.
Fisk's face slowly settles from pure rage, to a somewhat confused expression. "How long do you need?" He asked, his voice having a low growl in it.
The scientist clears his throat to compose himself. "All we'll need is at least two days. Then we'll be able to acquire some volunteers. Until then we need to bring in someone who is skilled in combat." He said, his voice trembling slightly.
"What we need is a hunter. Am animalistic hunter so deadly, none will be able to defeat him." Fisk said with a smirk.
The scientist looks at his fellow coworkers with obvious confusion. "Sir, Kraven the Hunter isn't available right no-"
"I'm not talking about Kraven. There is another Hunter out there who took an early stage of the Super Soldier Serum we once created...a lone assassin hunter warrior who's instincts rival Kraven's. However, after taking the serum, and gaining new incredible abilities, this man, Bogdon Sokolov, became a tiger man, and trained his body to be even stronger and faster than he ever was. Now, they use his nickname, Tigernight." Wilson explained as he walks down the halls. "I asked him to come to New York months ago, paid him for the trip here and to accept my offer to kill Spider-Man....once he succeeds, he shall be paid the rest." He explained before hearing a door open.
Once the door opens enough, a large tiger sized man walks in the lab, wearing a black almost body armor like vest, carrying various guns, swords and staffs with him. "Kingpin I presume?" The tiger man asked politely, bowing with respect.
"Please, call me Mayor Fisk. We are just two individuals on the job after all. I do hope you've come for my proposal?" The corrupt mayor said calmly, hands folded behind his back.
Tigernight nods approvingly as he stands back up. "Indeed I have. I've also seen the footage of this.... Spider-Man. I must admit that it is quite surprising to hear that my rival is unable to deal with a threat that seems so.....small." he said with pure confidence in his voice.
Wilson looks back at the man, his expression hardened and serious. "Do not underestimate this one. He isn't like your animals you hunt. This is unlike any other best you have ever fought against." He warned with authority.
Tigernight lets out a soft growl, unafraid of this threat. "He's just another man. Another man that I can easily destroy. Once he's dead, I'll prove once another for all who's better between myself and Sergei Kravinoff once and for all. For if he couldn't hunt him down and defeat him....I, Bogdon Sokolov, shall prove to be the true greatest hunter." He said with even greater confidence before preparing to leave the lab.
"Sir, do you require any new weapons? Because we can provide you with some." The scientists all ask, ready to demonstrate the capabilities. "Guns, traps, we have it all-"
"I have no use for your brand of technology. I have my gear, my weapons. I shall handle this insect with what I possess, as part of my honor as a hunter." Bogdon boasts before leaving, his boots lightly stomping on the ground below him as he walks.
As he watched Tigernight leaving the office, Wilson chuckles darkly, twirling his fingers together. "Soon, that bug won't be able to stop me."
(Editor's note: I know it's a relatively short chapter this time, but I wanna be able to give some of those as part of a fun villain introduction! Hope you're enjoying so far! :3)
