As Will swings out to the Financial District, he continues his search for either criminals, Fisk's Fist or Rose, hoping to defeat whoever he could find in an attempt to put a stop to any crimes he could. Of course, his biggest concern was stopping Rose, especially if she, along with her father were working with a corrupt mayor like Fisk. Because he had a better idea of how dangerous she could be if she wasn't stopped. 'She's gotta be out there somewhere.......if I use my spider sense to detect her presence, I should be able to find her......' He thinks to himself, focusing calmly with quiet, even breaths. Nothing yet. But most likely, she was preparing for a rematch, or studying him from somewhere else.
After a half hour of swinging through the city, the wall crawler finds Rose, communicating with someone in annoyance. "No, I'm telling you I just underestimated him a little bit. Next time, he ain't gonna be able to touch me." She said with confidence before her communications gets knocked out of her hands by a razor web, shattering it instantly.
"Sorry, figured you could use the assistance in learning how you'll have a time limit to your one phone call in jail." Spider-Man quipped from a wall he was stuck to, smirking under his mask before flipping off of it, landing several feet away from her.
Rose grit her teeth in annoyance. "You again?! Can't you take the fuckin hint that you can't win against me?! I'm a fuck ton smarter than you'll ever be with my photographic memory!" She shouted, immediately charging forward, using some daggers to stab at him like Ekaterina.
Will didn't even need his spider sense to be able to warn him of what she was doing, as he was able to tell by the subtle way her body moved just like members of the Avengers would when they attacked. So he would block her wrists before the daggers could touch him, then lands his knees into her chest then stomach, kicking off of her with his agility.
Rose was stunned by the new attack pattern. That wasn't a move he's ever done in his battles before...... that was closer to what Patriot Girl would do! "Not bad.....but I ain't done yet." She said coldly before throwing the daggers out like Patriot Girl would, which Will dodged. So Rose took the opportunity to attack him quickly, using her shield to attack his torso.
However, Will spins in midair, dodging the shield. "Well, I felt the wind from that attack that's for sure." He quipped as he goes for a kick to her head, which she blocked just in time with an energy shield similar to Colonel America's own energy shield. However, that was just what the rookie superhero was counting on, as that was just a feint attack. The actual attack was Will punching her arm where the energy shield projector was, and watching it as it takes damage...... enough damage to no longer be functional.
Rose's eyes widen in shock and horror as she realized just what Will was doing......he was systematically destroying some of the tech she had to mimic other hero's tech with. "Now I see. You wanna limit the fighting skills I've countered by eliminating my gear. Like the energy shield projector......I gotta admit it..you're much smarter than I gave you credit for.....much much smarter. I underestimated you because you ain't like the other Spider-Man. The original one......you could be even more dangerous....." She said with begrudging respect, pulling out a sword from behind her back, and attacking in a way similar to the Mantis. "But I ain't just some one trick pony!" She shouted as she switched fighting styles, immediately striking like that of Torunn and then Patriot Girl.
The web head was able to dodge each attack, trying his best to find openings for counterattacks. Once he found one, he would land a few random punches to her face. "Maybe not. But you're just a pale imitation of the original fighters you're copying. In other words? Your techniques are stolen. I don't need to know who's moves your using when. I need to use my brain to remember various fighting styles." He retorts as he punched her stomach, then knocks the sword out of her hand.
