P5yAfter taking down Mysterio the day before, Will was calling Gwen, letting her know the situation about Mysterio. "And that was it. Turns out those creatures were just illusions made by some dude who uses dark illusion magic." He explains while walking Gwen back to her apartment complex.

The strawberry blonde looked bewildered to hear this story. "I can't believe it....magic is actually real! Like.....it's not just a bunch of fancy deception like magicians do. Do you think everyone has it?" She asked, her analytical mind working into overdrive.

The curly haired troublemaker shrugs his shoulders, not completely sure of the answer himself. "With how Dungeons and t explains it and so many movies or books interpret magic it's hard to determine just how magic potential works." He said while pondering the possibilities. "But enough about that. How'd things go with Johnny? He didn't cause any trouble did he?" He then asked, praying his best friend didn't drive her too crazy.

The strawberry blonde tucked a strand of hair out of her face as she looks at Will. "He did everything in his power to help me feel safer to be honest.....sorta. He just.....didn't show a lot of courage. But credit where it's due, he tried." She said, trying to be as nice as possible. She didn't want to disrespect the curly haired boy's friends, especially since the situation was desperate.

Will chuckles at her answer, able to tell she was telling the truth. "I get that. But as long as you both are safe, that's what matters to me." He said honestly, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Gwen blushes softly at his generosity and attempt at comfort. "I uh-.....I assume Spider-Man stopped him then? I mean he always does." She said, trying to start a new conversation.

The troublemaking boy nods in response. "He did. It was definitely a tough fight since he had to guess what was considered an illusion and what was actually there, ya know?" He said calmly, remembering how that battle went. "But....he did it. He really did save a lot of lives that day. I think you're right.....he's getting better at this stuff."

Gwen smiles at his statement, feeling more vindicated that someone else was seeing what the young hero was doing. "He really is......more and more people are seeing it every day because of his actions. Of course there's always going to be some that don't see it, and think that he's doing more harm. But imagine if Spider-Man wasn't around, all the supervillains that'd be around because of the Super Soldier serum they tried to spread. Thanks to Spider-Man, it's becoming more and more obvious the city is safer.....cleaner in a lot of ways. Hopefully everyone sees just how amazing he really is." She said with a warm smile, clutching the straps of her backpack.

The curly haired boy nods in agreement with her statement. "Knowing that people like you appreciate his work.....I'm willing to bet that is more than enough for him." He said gently as he sees her apartment complex getting closer. Admittedly he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at her compliment though. He had seen and heard a lot of how people are starting to see the web head for the good he's been doing lately. He never let it go to his head, but he was glad to know more people saw the many heroic things he has done.

The strawberry blonde smiles at his kind words. "Well, I hope so..... because he deserves to know the work he's been doing is appreciated." She said, slightly fidgiting with her backpack strap. "Well....thanks again for walking me home. I appreciate it." She tells him, her smile brightening slightly as she walks into her building.

Will watched as she went inside the building, being sure she went in safely. Once he was assured she was, he walks down the streets with a calm expression. He didn't get very far before seeing something suspicious heading down an alleyway and going after it. "Hold it!" He calls out as he gets closer to the alley, ready to fight if necessary.
