The next day after school, Will was walking out with Gwen next to him, holding the right strap of his backpack casually. "That chemistry test.....wasn't so bad......I feel like I at least got a B on it." He said casually, smiling to himself with a bit of confidence.

The strawberry blonde giggles softly at her friend's confidence. "Well of course. You did study after all. Plus you had me to help tutor you a little bit during class." She lightly teased, nudging his arm slightly. "But seriously, you can't be that surprised. You're smarter than you give yourself credit for......and you're applying yourself more. It shows with how much work you put into...... everything honestly." She told him honestly.

The curly haired troublemaking boy chuckles at her compliments. "You're definitely right about one thing.......you tutored me and helped me study a lot for that test......it means a lot to me that you'd help this much ya know?" He said with genuine sincerity. Of course he also learned quite about certain subjects thanks to his adventures as Spider-Man, using his experiences in combat and heroics to his advantage. But he couldn't tell her, or anyone else about that little secret.

Gwen smiles at his compliments, feeling accomplished that she was able to help him so much. "That's..... really sweet of you to say...... truthfully, I just did what I could.....you just adapted from there......kinda like you do with...... everything you do huh?" She said softly.

Will nods as he walks with her, one hand holding the strap of his backpack on his right shoulder, while his other hand was in his pocket. "Yeah ....I guess you're right about that......truth be told, I think it's best to adapt to things instead of always having a plan. Makes a person less predictable that way, and shows that you're quick thinking." He said with a small smile, feeling more sure of himself now.

Gwen couldn't help but smile at him, feeling more and more comfortable as he spoke. But then she turned around, looking behind them. "Haven't seen that Rose girl anywhere lately......she gives me the weirdest vibes still......I can't explain why......" She said, trying hide any distain from her voice to the best of her abilities. Of course she wasn't doing the best job at that, but something about that girl......made her visibly uncomfortable.

Will looks down at her while walking. "Now that you mention it......it is weird that she's been...... distant..... despite her being unreadable...... and giving me weird vibes, I hope she's doing alright." He said as he continues walking. Though upon thinking about what Gwen was saying in more detail, he started thinking that maybe ......maybe she was right. Maybe Rose was a little strange for some reason. The way she looked at people, especially him since she came to school......it felt way too weird. As they continued walking, he couldn't help but feel his spider sense tingling constantly, warning him of danger he could be in.....but he couldn't figure out from where said danger was coming from....or why they weren't attacking. 'Spider sense.....but nothing is behind me..... nor on the rooftops to my knowledge. So either they're below us, or hidden on the rooftops just out of my line of sight....... either way I can't exactly ditch Gwen to find out....or else I'll risk my secret identity as Spider-Man being exposed.....I just gotta play it cool, show her that nothing's going on until I drop her off.' He thinks to himself while trying to figure out where the danger was coming from exactly. He focused a little deeper on his spider sense, using it to track the potential danger....or stalker. He may not know exactly who or what it was, but at least this way he could determine where they were. 'Above....on the rooftop to my right from behind. So far just watching me.....for what reason I dunno. Gotta stay calm.'

"I have to admit......I don't like the way that Rose was talking to you....." Gwen said, snapping the curly haired boy out of his thoughts. "I just get the feeling that she would try to get you in trouble......I'm not asking you to....not hang out with her all together. It's your life. But....... can you promise me that if you do, just......try to be careful to not get too involved in whatever she's doing?" She requested with concern, carefully taking his hand and squeezing it gently.
