A day after the incident with The Big Cheese, things seemed to be doing alright. Spider-Man was doing more crime fighting, along with stopping any of Fisk's Fists he could with grace and agility. In fact, he was fighting a newer villain who seemed to be......not a big threat to the wall crawler. A villain who seemed to have armor that looked like a mechanical grizzly bear. "Seriously? A grizzly bear? What? Were the lion and tiger busy? Oh my!" He quipped as he dodged the villain's claws effortlessly.

The villain growls as he attempts to slash at the web head, only to hit empty air. "Stand still will ya?!" He shouted with frustration as he missed yet again. Each attack he tried would miss, and it was obvious this villain didn't have any long range weapons to use.....

Spider-Man smirked under his mask, kicking the jaw of the machine hard and sending it flying upward. "Or what? You won't be able to.....bear the humiliation?" He joked before punching him in the stomach, denting the metal as if it were nothing but an empty soda can, then webs it up tightly, crushing the suit further. But the web slinger didn't stop there, as he uses his strength to rip off the mechanical arms, revealing his real arms that were underneath it. Of course the hero didn't rip off his human limbs, but now this villain was effectively unable to truly fight back. "You've been disarmed pretty bad eh Grizzler?" He joked as he webbed up his enemy tighter, ripping off the rest of the suit effortlessly.

Meanwhile, in the distance, a female figure was watching the fight from afar on a rooftop. She was studying his every move, every fighting technique, every subtle move that Spider-Man made. Even other details such as his body's structure, muscle density and overall body detail. Upon closer inspection, it was Rose, wearing her tactical gear while watching the fight with her binoculars "Alright......I got the jist of what he can do......I now know his every move down to the very last degree....." She said with obvious pride to herself. "Of course I was bound to learn them. This dumbass took my bait pretty easily...... that means I know exactly who you are too....." She added on as she put her binoculars away, seeing that the wall crawler was about to web swing away, most likely to fight more criminals in the city since that grizzly bear themed villain was such a pushover. However, he did his job for her......got her the necessary data on her Spider themed target. "Bumbler may have failed, surprising no one....but I don't fail........ this dumbass won't know what hit him." She said to herself as she observed the wall crawler's swinging pattern.

"Rose, report. How's things coming with the new Spider-Man?" A voice comes in through their coms feed, showing more of a professional edge than any actual care or concern. But of course, since she was on a mission.....that came before anything else.

Rose rolled her eyes in annoyance under her mask. "I got what I need from him. He's gonna be such a fuckin cakewalk it's not even funny......I'll be getting my money for takin him out by the end of tomorrow night." She said with a cold calculated time, continuing to watch his every move from afar. The way Spider-Man moved in midair, the way he ran, the way he vaulted over walls and ledges to continue running, even the way he would perform certain acrobatics. "I've got em all memorized..,..." She added on, smirking to herself from afar.

Spider-Man, unaware of anyone following him, continues to swing through New York. "I think I got all the bad guys I can stop for the night......after fighting a mechanical grizzly bear, I've done what I can for now." He said to himself as he swings further into the night sky.

Rose didn't try to catch up to her target, sitting in place just fine. "Why aren't you following after him?! You should be studying his every move!" The voice called out into her earpiece with annoyance, worry and anger.

But Rose didn't even care anymore. "I got my information. His skills are mine. His techniques are mine. I'll be fine when we meet." She said with a casual yet calculative tone, watching the dot that was Spider-Man swing off into the distance before turning off the coms link in her earpiece without a second thought. Of  course she wasn't going to follow him. She had no interest in learning where he lived, or anything else about his personal life as just Will Richardson, despite the fact she knew his identity. She had zero intention of kidnapping his family or other loved ones. She would much rather fight him on a somewhat equal field.....no hostages, no blackmail...... just them fighting to the death with their skills, and abilities. 'One of the only good things to come from bein raised by my father? Having his memory......so I can do whatever others can by literally just watching.' she thinks to herself as she stared out into the night, seeing the moon come out. 'I'll figure out what makes you so damn special......and earn a fat stack of cash myself for takin him out thanks to that fat fuck, Fisk.' as she leaves the rooftop, jumping from one to the next and so on, she calculates her plan of attack, ready to fight her web themed adversary.

(Editor's note: yeah this is a shorter chapter. But to build up what's coming, this felt right. Hope you're enjoying so far! :3)
