As soon as Arachnichimp lunged at Spider-Man, the web head backflips away, narrowly dodging the attack, which instead hit a wall, shattering it. 'That was way too close. I gotta be extremely careful. This guy isn't holding back at all.....' He thinks to himself, trying to keep composed despite the dangers he was about to face. "Look, don't do this Alex, this isn't going to do anything but turn you into a monster like him, or worse!" He shouts frantically, trying to reach even a tiny trace of his humanity, even for just a moment to try and talk him out of this mission he was on.
Alex's eyes widen with both shock and anger. Spider-Man knew his identity? Despite his different features now?.....of course he did. He'd hear about the news on his parents murder. He'd put the pieces together......but this also angered him because he wasn't helping. "Wrong! I'll be saving the city from bastards like him! NOW STAY OUT OF MY WAY!" He screams out in rage, charging at the superhero again.
This time, the wall crawler jumps back, bouncing off the wall with incredible agility, doing whatever he could to avoid having to fight Alex if he could help it, even though he knows that fight is inevitable. "Please, don't do this. If you do, you'll be what Fisk wants.....or worse." He said, trying one last time to save the boy peacefully.
Alex wasn't having any of it though, his eyes filled with malice, and his body ready to attack with murderous intent this time. "You would say that to save yourself....." He growled out as four of his extra arms turned into spider legs, each one crawling towards him slowly, meticulously, and with predatory intent. "You had your chance to get out of my way....but now he's gotten away because of you." He then said coldly as he charged the web slinger, who narrowly dodged the incoming assault.
Will tumbled on the ground, ready to fight now that he absolutely has to. "I really hate having to do this ......but I can't let you do this to yourself." He mumbled before firing webs at the spider legs, trapping him and temporarily distracting him. Once he saw that, Spidey dashed after him, kicking his chest and watching him stumble slightly. But he didn't stop there, soon punching his face and stomach before flipping away to prepare for an incoming strike he knew was coming.
Arachnichimp swung his fists wildly, doing whatever he could do to try and land a hit on the web slinging annoyance who got in his way. "You can't stop me Arachnid. I got all your powers, plus my own......you don't stand a chance against me." He taunted as he continues trying to strike the hero.
However, Spider-Man was able to not only dodge, but counter Arachnichimp's attacks, using his spider sense to help track certain movements. "You may have more abilities than me, but you don't have the experience I do." He says bluntly before kicking his stomach, then slamming his elbow into his foe's chest, watching him stumble backwards from the force. But he didn't stop, soon slamming his knee into his face to assure he didn't get time to rest. "You wanna be a hero, but with the methods you're trying, you'll never get the chance!" He shouted as he punched his face again.
Alex stumbled from the punch.....those attacks he's landing......they hurt.......he knew Spider-Man was strong.....but he never thought those attacks would hurt this much. Could it be he underestimated the web slinger's strength? Whatever the case, he wasn't going to just give up. So he charged back in, his attacks now considerably faster, and his patterns changing slightly.
The web head was starting to have trouble avoiding Alex's attacks from how different his fighting style is. His attacks were faster, and based on the breeze from the punches, stronger as well. The only plus side from his perspective is that he was sloppier, less coordinated due to his lack of true combat experience. But how long could he rely on that advantage. 'Cant counterattack him....he won't give me much of a chance......' He thinks to himself, trying to land a kick, a punch, anything to push this bastard back a little bit. But no matter what, he couldn't land a hit either. So he webs his fist to a wall, bouncing off it to gain a little distance away from his foe. "Alex, I don't want to fight you! I want to help you!" He shouted in frustration and desperation to reach him.
