How To Adapt! Flight Vs Fight Response!

In the evening, Bumbler flies through the city with his jetpack, searching for any signs of the web head in the area. But there was no sign of him anywhere.....this was strange to the assassin.....he was usually in this area by now, at least according to his own calculations. Would he need to drag him out somehow....? Of course he was absolutely willing to if that was what it'd take. But he would rather not have to over nothing. "How strange......is he perhaps dealing with a group of criminals.....he should be here....." He mumbled to himself, trying to think of any theories as to why this annoying superhero was so late.

It wasn't a long wait however, since webs would come from behind him, and the web head suddenly appears, kicking Bumbler from behind. "Sorry Bumbler, but I'm gonna show you what really stings after kicking your butt." He quipped as he lands on a nearby wall with grace and agility.

Bumbler manages to catch himself in the air, shaking his head to regain his composure. How strange......no one can sneak up on him typically....perhaps that was why he was so late......to throw him off balance. "Very clever Spider-Man. However, I will not be lowering my guard for you like that again." He said coldly as he fires multiple stinger blasts from the blaster on his forearm.

Of course the web head dodged the attacks, moving with such nimble agility. "But you will in other ways right? Because I don't like to pull the same truck twice." He joked, web swinging toward the bumble bee themed assassin, kicking one of the stinger blasts back at him. However, after one was kicked back, multiple others followed suit thanks to the rookie superhero's speed.

Bumbler's eyes widen under his helmet, unable to believe someone was able to do that. He covers his helmet and part of his chest with his arms, watching the stingers hit parts of his armor. But before he could react to much else, Spider-Man was already up close to him, punching him in the face harder than before. He did a few flips in the air from the impact. However, thanks to his expertise with this suit, the aerial assassin was able to stabilize himself in the air, visibly frustrated by the wall crawler's tactics. "You believe yourself to be clever do you? Well I have news for you. You are no match for me. I am one of the best assassins in the business!" He shouts out, charging at his target with incredible speed, using his stinger blades to try and cut the web head.

However, thanks to his spider sense combined with his agility, Spidey was able to dodge, using his webs to pull himself upward just enough to land on Bumbler's back. "In the air. On the ground though? Well.....why don't we find out?" He quipped, firing webs into the jetpack's engines, causing it to sputter and lose control.

Bumbler could feel the two of them falling at accelerated speeds, trying to use his experience to figure out the safest way to land. But of course, he couldn't think of anything due to how much he was panicking. "You imbecile! Look at what you've done! Thanks to your meddling, you're going to get us both killed!" He shouted with sheer irritation for the hero's interference.

Spidey could only grin under his mask at how angry his assassin foe was getting. "Take it easy bee boy. Did you forget who you're dealing with?" He quipped, firing webs at a building and swings towards another rooftop, using his sticking powers to hold Bumbler with his feet. He then tossed him onto the rooftop, slamming him against the wall nearby. "Now without your jetpack, you're just a yellow version of Mantis." He mocked, landing on the ground effortlessly.

The bumble bee themed assassin grits his teeth under his helmet, growling loudly out of pure irritation. "Do you realize what you've done?! You think you're clever getting rid of my jetpack?! You're still just some amateur compared to me!" He shouted out, firing out his honey blaster in rapid succession.

Being more prepared for this tactic, Will cartwheeled to the side casually, firing his webs at some of the honey, blocking each shot instinctually. "Yet this amateur is countering your attacks so easily. Explain that to me. Does this make you below amateur?" He mocked casually as he jammed up his foe's honey blaster with his webbing. Combining both his webs and the honey would clog up the blaster indefinitely.
